"You were warned, never listen to rampers."
........Or de-rampers, hey Antha !?
Yep, some lucky buggers will have 10 bagged if they bought at the right time. I, like a lot of you had to go out on a limb to get my stupidly high HNR average down to a comfy 13p. By the time it plunged to the 3p region, I was already "in too deep" to spaff any more money into it. Terryified of throwing good money after bad, and at too much of a loss to consider bailing out, but sitting pretty now! Onward and upwards, and thanks for the advice too chaps...
I'm NOT Mr 50K...
Hello All. I'm a long term holder here, but a novice trader. I've never been in the position before where I could consider selling shares and making this much profit. Just wanted advice on how it works.
I've seen people post on these boards "Can't buy shares at X Price"..
Is there ever a situation when there are simply no shares available to buy in a certain stock?
Not that I want to sell yet, but eventually that day will come, let's say I wanted to sell 100k shares if and when they reach £1. Is there ever a situation where I wouldn't be able to do that?
Then let's say they drop to 90p, and I want to buy the same amount of shares back, but keeping £10k profit. Is there ever a situation where I wouldn't be able to buy back in?
Is it actually like tickets for a match? When they're gone, they're gone, or is there always a "float" where people can buy in?
May sound a bit "obvious", but until someone tells you, you don't know...
Come on Fred. Your numbers don't add up...
Surely they'll be closed Christmas day !!
"Quid, the valuation here is nothing but speculative. That's a fact!"
Of course it's speculative !! This company is still in it's infancy.
I must admit, looking at the bottom line figures in the RNS, which usually overrule any "we expect" or "we anticipate"s , about future performance, I half expected a little drop today. But the SP has held up again. This seems to be our level at the moment, and I'm more than happy with the progress we've made from the 3 and 4p days. If this was overpriced, no one would buy them.
If you think it's a pumped up price.... don't buy them....Simple...
Weathergeek. Are you from Stoke by any chance ?.......
Just that I don't know any other breed that call their Mrs, "My Lady" or "Mar Laydeee", to put it in real Stokey twang...
Great post Bluerill.
Very well explained.
Thanks..
I'd get that clock looked at Mate..
Mine's ticking at the same speed.
But definitely better in than out ! Roll on the roll out...
Don't be hard on yourself Gallini.
I always follow the ones who come on these boards, telling everyone how much money they've made too!
Hello Hopeful Dave.
Good to see you here again. I too remained hopeful, but always wary after getting stung by the dodgy goings-on at SXX (how did you get on with those?).
I hope you're right about the £££s. I've got myself into a decent enough position with Zoe now, after buying when it was low to average down to 13p ish.
I was reading an article today on the 52 week high that we've just had, saying that highs like this are mostly maintained and bettered in the long term, but the people who wrote the article still had Zoe down as "highly speculative" ...Didn't read any further as it was one of those where they get you interested, then want to know your life history to become a subscriber.
Do you see this a speculative??
Hello All.
I had a small holding here at an average of high £2s. (less than 1000) shares
I bought a further £2500 worth of these at £1.35, just before I heard about the upcoming rights issue. (averaged down a bit)
My broker isn't notifying us until today, apparently.
Baring in mind I don't want to put any more of my own money in....
Should I sell the ones I bought and use the money for the R.I.?
Should I take the money on the discounted shares I'd qualify for (which I believe is an option)..Would this balance out?
Thanks..
Does anyone here use LSE for their trading?
Have you had any contact from them regarding these IAG goings on ?
I haven't had anything.
My Mrs also has IAG through another broker and she's had the email explaining the rights issue...
Help !!
Makes me want to throw more money at this !!
Very positive and confidence building..
Shame I haven't got any more money to throw at this !!!
Oh Bu gger
"Just over 26048 shares....to my big holdings here
GL holders"
Just over 26048 ? ....Is that 26049 then?
JESUUUUS !
I take it all back.
Looks like booklover was right !! We're RICH !!!
Sorry Mr Share Talk. I'm not on Twitter...What does it say?
Not sure what this bloke is up to...
If you're going to be drawn in by a "ramper" , surely it would take a more subtle one than this. Do you think he's a Nigerian prince who wants our bank account details in another life??
Not sure what kind of books he loves either, but I bet they have lots of nice pictures!
If this gets to 25 quid, I personally will be kicking myself, because I'll already have sold out at my target price....
Which is £24.99 incase you're wondering....
