down even further !!!!
If the SP drops to 1p or below I shall certainly invest more.
It's heading that way but the risk is, a positive RNS would scupper that theory.
Just sit and wait is the motto
Heading towards 1p.
Will certainly buy some if it goes sub 1p
Yes, this could easily drop below 1p - it has happened before
Turna:-
Like many on here you misconstrue what you read and form silly theories.
This then gets read by the multitude and they then form inane views as well.
I never said it would go to 1p. - I stated If it went to 1p.
Please learn to respond objectively and then think before you post subjective nonsense
JBThistle:-
This share is sentiment driven at the moment and because of that the share could dip.
Its the AIM.
Why would anyone buy at 2p when there is every possibility that this could dip lower.
It makes financial investing sense to sit and wait - It may never happen but that's investing for you.
Again , I wish you luck in your strategy.
Turna:-
The supposed 15% rate rise is not endemic to SCC.
Many other LA's throughout the country are facing the same scenario.
I notice you say the oil revenue will probably cover the rate increase. well probably is not good enough . You and the likes of you should come up with hard facts & figures that back up your assumptions.
Look forward to you reply
JBThistle:-
Quite correct if it dips below 1p again I shall certainly consider a further investment.
Who knows were the SP will head.
Sit back and wait is the motto.
Lynthip:-
The determination period for large scale planning applications is currently 13 weeks from the validation date.
Local Authorities will not validate an application until all the requirements have been met.
If UKOG's agent started today they will not be able to provide the required information as many of the protected species surveys will not be able to be carried out until after the hibernation period is over in the spring of 2019.
There will be much dialog between the applicants agent & the Local Authority to ensure this is correct and accurate.
I don't think the Planning Act has been amended yet, to allow fast tracking. If you know different I am sure UKOG would be interested to here directly from you as would many on this BB.
Everest:-
I admire your optimism but wait until the application goes in.
The number of objectors will be immense.
There will be argument and counter argument .
People will use the system to voice their concerns and prolong the process.
My statement still stands, this will be a long process.
Superman:-
I am a long term holder of 4 years.
Bought in at sub 1p.
Look at all my posts - In the OPINION section, I always tick HOLD.
You like a great many on here always make the wrong assumptions.
I work in Architecture and was only stating the likely process. !!
Nice to see that the Portland is commercial.
However, therein lies the problem:-
We now need to submit a Planning Application based on the submitted Scoping Report.
That will illicit a Scoping Opinion from the Local Authority and I have a horrible feeling a Environmental Assessment will be required as part of the application.
That in itself will unleash the dogs of war ( residents, ecological and conservation bodies, anti capitalists, local parish councils etc).
This could be a long drawn out process of maybe 12 months for the LTH - all board the rollercoaster - here we go - AGAIN !!
Rodders:-
Who cares if you have a job.
Who cares if it pays well !.
No one is obliged to clarify their position on here.
Who care if you filter anyone.
Who care if he is 1 or 4 on your list.
Lighten up a bit, it's only a two bit penny share at the moment and may stay that way.
Everyone is allowed their opinion and you and many like you, are not there to play judge/jury
The RNS states that a Scoping Report will be submitted to SCC which in turn will produce a Scoping Opinion from SCC. That will then form the basis of what will be required in the Environmental Assessment, to accompany the Planning Application.
This is not a five minute job and will entail much expense and more importantly time expended.
We should prepare ourselves for a possible 9 month process, with many objections from locals and environmental groups.
It will be another rollercoaster ride.
Manchego:-
You are completely wrong it's actually 99.99%
Vernony:-
You must learn to read correctly.
I never ever said that the shares would get to 1p.
I stated that IF they got to 1p I would buy more.
Like many idiotic posters on here you misinterpret to sensationalise.
JBThistle:-
You are just going to have to take my word that I bought in below 1p four years ago.
Since you are looking at my back posts I am sure you will have noticed that under the "Opinion" heading I always insert "Hold". - That means I buy low and HOLD
My belief still holds true - see below:-
Last time I bought these shares they were below 1p.
Next time I buy these shares they will be below 1p.
With a bit of luck that's were they are headed.
Good Luck with your investing strategy !!.
Thistle:-
Obviously you don't understand the method of investing.
To make money you need to buy low & sell high.
basics really !!!
For the same reason that your reading my post - its there
No it's fact
