Last weeks rise was bound to fizzle out since directors buys usually mean there will be no news for at least 30 days iirc. While it was a positive that some did buy we need more of them to get in to instill confidence.

I say it as I see it. I'll start ramping when I believe it's reached the bottom. The sp is news driven but it won't keep dropping to zero.

Last bottom was 1.2p. let's see if it holds this time.

1.4p close coming I reckon. The small bounce in the morning is only traders getting in and now getting out.

I think you will find the hard way that the rise is over and many have been spiked. With the amount of apparent buy volume the sp should have been rising, not dropping.
Apart from some director buys what tangible or imminent news is there to suggest this will rise over the next few weeks? Brockham permission application hasn't even been submitted so there is a long wait before anything happens I'm afraid.

Plenty of fun and games to be had over the next few months but short term this is going back to where it was a week ago. The decline since morning means it's going to drop down sharply tomorrow morning if there is no new RNS.

I suspect this is going down at close ready for a proper shake tomorrow morning. It's the usual pattern after a pump.

I reckon the rise us done. Watch as the traders and short termers bail out.

No new director buyss means sp too high for them. Retrace on the cards imo. Will be lucky to stay above 1.4p by tomorrow close.

The MM's always pump the sp when a director buys. If the combined quantity bought by the directors was more than what I personally buy and sell then perhaps I would be more enthusiastic but the piddly amount they bought suggests this is just a ploy to help their placee mates profit from their shorts.
Watch the sp retrace right back to where it started by Friday.

As expected many have been spiked again. Can see this back at 1.3p next week.

Cliveass, I guess you don't know that Directors cannot buy or sells shares when in a closed period, i.e when they are privy to price sensitive information. Since the ANGS directors have bought shares we can safely assume they are not in a closed period at present and can buy and sell as they please.

If there was any RNS containing price sensitive information in the next 3-4 weeks then the Directors are subject to insider trading laws.

Almost guaranteed the sp will run out of steam by tomorrow if not later today. The simple fact that the BoD can only buy when there is a period of no news should tell you that things will quieten down for a while.

It looks like the bod have playing the investors here. The know no price sensitive news is on the horizon so attempting to pump price up with rather small 'director' buys. If we get another director buy RNS tomorrow then it looks orchestrated . Perhaps to let out the placees?

The bod are out of a closed period so can buy shares at the moment. Could be while for any price sensitive news. I think people should be careful not to get spiked today.

1.5m shares is only about £25000 worth. Hardly a massive amount. I trade more than that.

All depends. It may spike but now we know there is no price sensitive news coming for the next month or so. They are not in a closed period hence the purchase.

There is strong resistance at 1.7p. It's ran out of steam I'm afraid. Wait for the next bit of news and a better entry point in the mean time. Good trade for sure.

Funny how all those who seem to have apparently sold are still here moaning and groaning about it. Go somewhere else if you think this is a bad investment.

I suspect the reality is that you guys are trying you best to scare people into selling so you can buy at a lower entry price before it recovers from oversold territory. No sane person would waste time posting on here if they are not interested in the company.

I reckon short term the news will be about the next step to take with Brockham. They will either sell or farmout retaining some percentage or they may decide to test the Portland. Either way the sp will respond positively.

If water is only coming from the lower zones near the Kimmeridge then there is no reason why the Portland can't be flowed independantly since it is higher up . UKOG are actually flowing more oil from the Portland zone than Kimmeridge so it has been demonstrated to be commercial.

Those suggesting the share is dead for another year will be in a for a surprise if caught short over the next few weeks.

Sell if you want but it looks like MM's trying to scare some into relinquising their shares. Nothing particularly negative in the CC.

Did they even have to release another RNS to state that the Conference call is happening? They must have something good to say otherwise they wouldn't be promoting it again.
