Remember that Loxley is a gas field which is always in demand and an onshore resource will become more important in the future. It will be totally unreasonable if the SCC refuse it again and would easily be overturned on appeal.
There is no way the SCC would waste time holding another planning meeting for Loxley if they result was going to be a refusal like before. They know they messed it up last time and were essentialy forced to look at it again.
Lol the only thing ebbing away is the entry price for those who are sitting on the fence. You have got to be in it to win it.
Do you think anyone cares if it only reaches 0.5p? It's still nearly a triple bagger from here....
It would be crazy to sell just before the Loxley decision. This is a re-run because the council knows the scrwed up. I can see it hitting the 0.5p range like it did last time and shooting past that once Loxley is approved. Would they council really risk paying out a huge fine if it goes to appeal?
Whoever bought the 80m shares is obviously confident or knows something good is coming.
The derampers are getting worried. Perhaps buy in before it starts moving up again since there is no willingness to sell at this all time low level.
Looks like Turkey could be the saviour of UKOG. The beaurocracy will not be a hinderence like it is in the UK so chances are that production could be within a year if all goes well during the appraisal. The oil has already been found there so it's a lower risk drill.
Even if SS got £150K that's far too much for the work he has done in terms of shareholder value. At the moment he owes investors money rather than the other way around. The guy is taking a wage that is on par with a big oilies yet all he has done is run it to the ground and lost millions of investor money. Any serious company and he would have been sacked a long time ago.
I would not put it past SS to put Turkey forward as a carrot to suck in more pi's and then to let the deal fail once funding is secured. When some might be thinking the sp can't go any lower, UKOG always proves us wrong.
mannnan, Not sure it's wise to get in just yet since I doubt they have riased enough to actually perform the drilling. The initial placing barely covers the siesmics and SS's and crews salaries.
I was expecting a placing for around £4m but I suspect no one in their right mind would give them that much cash in return for almost worthless shares.
