Weather improved and had a sunny afternoon in the garden, lawning and stuff.

Shares were not so bad either MKS went mad at one point up over 10%, faded a bit at the end.
Having another flyer in Blackberry which has half a day to go yet.
Few others did okay, my p/f was well up, but wifes a little bit down and daughter Matilda a little up.

Still nett result was an all time family high for UK close time, need BB hangs on to gains, to keep up.
Also have Xiaomi in the middle of night on HK, be interesting what that might do as they are chipping away at Samsung and Apple lead in smartphones and have been taken off US invest blacklist just recently.

Dividends have 3 dates to know. Declaration date this is when the div is announced. how much it is and when it will be allocated and paid. Then the record or ex dividend date which are when the dividend is allocated. the shares that are on record as being owned by you on such a date will get a dividend, I think the ex date is actually the day after as that day . when shares are excluding the dividend. As long as you own the shares on the record date you will get the dividend, even if you sell them after. A little while after the record date the dividend is paid, the payment date!

If you go to https://www.dividenddata.co.uk/ you get all the co. tickers, divs, dates and markets listed. So you can just look at FTSE100 tab and they will all be there.

Your statista information on knife crime has pretty much the same trends as the whole of UK, if anything it is not as extreme in variation. Is this also Sadiq Khans fault of might it have something to do with central government, for the last 11 years being run by Boris and Shaun?

Sorry madpunter you may be right and as I have already said I don't particularly care for Khan, I do have an opinion on Boris it is not great.

Still you don't get to vote for London mayor, I do, so my opinion is more important than yours even if that is the only reason.
The problem is with mayors is they are dependent to a degree on central government, so for Boris and Red Ken it was easier to deal with their own parties.
Khan has had no such luck so is often at odds there. He also is not so lucky with the press, where you get all your info..

Fairly indifferent day for me, INVP has not paid off at least as yet. DNLM which looked to be a lucky move instead of ENT has slipped and ENT done ok. FGP keeps quietly rising, though USbsale in jeopardy not sure where that will take it, but looks like no special div, still it may not be a bad thing. ANTO making a bit of ground back.

Madpunter, you may know about Wales and even a bit of the north east. But to say Boris did well for london as a Londoner I don't think he did all that. To pin knife crime on Khan is just not right, you've been listening to Trump. Do you blame Boris for the 2012 riots?
Khan may well be a slippery Labour boy but TFL has improved under him. Boris may well be a slippery Tory, TFL and Olympics were okay under him. There is not much else for normal Londoners that they effect and I don't like or trust either.
