Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Great PR that is by the way, brilliant humor from a company who know exactly where they are heading. No doubt DubleD will be back tomorrow to put his negative spin on it moaning about sales bla bla bla. Make sure you all pop him in the green filter bin and let him moan to himself so we can keep this positive vibe going as we are at the business end now. GLA
Not sure it is completed Gregg
It says 'ensure Mologic TT is on track'
That is actually hilarious!! haha
Cheers Chuggley
I think the process is far more technical than many of us thought hence the time taken. Even I believed it would be 4-6 weeks. I know we have been saying it for months but this really is the month I believe for Omega to fulfil it's potential.
First signs of positive sentiment in the papers means it's close! I'm looking forward to telling Deeks to go fk himself. haha
I've thought about this Computer and I think the government believe it's easier and more efficient to vaccinate everyone first so they can keep a track of it. When you think about it they are not sure how long antibodies last so many studies are being conducted first. I think it would just confuse matters at present. However once everyone is vaccinated I believe the antibody test will then come into play for booster shots as the antibodies response will last longer in some than others. It may well be that we have to have regular 3-6 month tests for example to show us we need a vaccine booster shot.
Uddin - old news! No need to fill this board up with stuff we already know. Take your ramping elsewhere, it doesn't help to constantly bring up old news.
Anyone see Tony Blair today on Sophie Ridge? Very interesting..... he was saying he has been in contact with the government and also feels Travel passports are inevitable having to have proof of vaccine or test results plus saying rapid antigen testing needs to be administered in schools to open them up.
Rapid testing is starting to get in the Media more and more which can only mean they are getting tipped off on future announcements
There is only so much PR Omega can do at present until they have the test CE marked under their Visitech brand. You watch it all change once TT is complete, CE marking is obtained and the actually specifications of the test are in the public domain. If it is as high as what the preliminary results suggest then the tests will be promoted to high heaven by Omega, Scientists and Government etc....
Tony Rowe - we are in a pandemic which is in the process of killing hundreds of millions around the world which scientists have said that we will most likely have to learn to live with forever and new variants are being discovered which hamper the vaccines effectiveness. The only way to open economy's is through vaccines and lateral flow rapid testing. The government are throwing billions at testing (you heard of moonshot yet?) Last time i checked we make lateral flow tests....Forgive me for thinking this is a low risk investment, what ever made me think these tests would be in demand..... sigh*
I believe you are maybe on about the supply of goods contract for the ABC Antibody which we had an RNS at the end of December?? See below
'AbC-19TM Rapid Test Update
York, U.K. 29 December 2020: Abingdon Health plc (AIM: ABDX) ("Abingdon" or "the Company"), a lateral flow diagnostics company providing contract service solutions to a global client base in the healthcare sector and other industries, today provides an update on the AbC-19TM Rapid Test.
Abingdon continues to liaise with the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) regarding approval for home use and self-test of the AbC-19TM Rapid Test for antibodies to the spike protein of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The Company announced the CE marking of the product for professional use on 30 July 2020. Whilst, as previously disclosed, the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has the option to cancel its Supply of Goods Contract with the Company if a CE mark had not been granted for home use by 25 December 2020, Abingdon continues to work constructively MHRA to try to enable such authorisation. The Supply of Goods Contract ends on 14th February 2021.'
Hoping for TT this week first up to get sentiment back that was unfairly dented by that deceiving article just as we stated to gain momentum, sentiment can change in an instant so keep the faith. Tenders are also imminent but we still don't know how the government are gonna play this and if they have something up their sleeve that Boris could announce when he delivers the road map out of lockdown. Either way imo February will be the start of the news rich period and in a couple of months we will be at full capacity (unless they increase it even further) so there is a lot to look forward to. Yes it has taken longer than we all expected and the longer you wait the more impatient everyone becomes, we are impatient because we know it's coming which is a good thing. In a market full of risk at present as seen this week this is as safe an investment as is possible imo, very low risk and possibly huge rewards. The lateral flow test flow stream is just getting underway and we are going to have one of the best Antigen tests on the market, demand will be off the scale. GLA
It wasn't Shredz who posted it again, he posted it on the 28th when the tender was published, it's Uddin who has posted again a couple of days later.
In hindsight should have shorted NFX instead of investing in it...
Come on Blackwell and team.... it’s about time you updated us on what your plans are. I don’t mind being underwater but it’s now close to being at the bottom of the ocean now with no idea how to surface. I know we all want and need a deal but at least letting us in on your short term plans you have talked about would perhaps give us a little confidence.
@dubleD. It’s up 8 percent from last Thursday and up 1000% percent from last year. Everything is how you want to perceive it and as per usual you only want to quote the negative. If you topped up like me at 52 then you would be 8 percent up from last week and joyful. You are just a depressing and negative person that blames everyone but himself. Maybe you would be a lot happier if you tried to pick out the positives rather than all the negatives and in doing so would gain some respect and also some friends.
DubleD - I’m sure with all your negative remarks about Colin and his team I’m pretty damm sure he wouldn’t want your investment, he would much prefer shareholders who are positive about the company and where it is going. Therefore on behalf of Colin, Omega and 99.9% of this board, take your pocket money out and FK off, there’s a good boy.
The ducks are lining up, no one can dispute it all links in together. All is needed is a little more patience and the bumpy ride will all be forgotten!
Shredz should be working for MI5. Actually let me rephrase that, he should be the boss of MI5!
Evening all genuine shareholders
I take it there were a few trolls around today as it didn't take long to catch up with the posts today as most were green! What a surprise that they came out to play on a red day!!
Anyway enough of those fools, we are another day closer. TT must be so close now and tender announcements also. After reading Merchantbankers post earlier with all the points of how far we have come since last year with the SP being the same really emphasizes how much we are undervalued so I hope you are all taking advantage. We are on the fringe now...... ;-)
Pm to deliver statement on Covid this afternoon in House of Commons on plans to come out of lockdown, now this could be interesting.
