Chesh, you missed the important bit mate, the breath test can be done anywhere you like, in bed at home, in the bathroom, in the pub and by anyone with the breath tester which contains the chip to be analysed later...the actual analysis of the chip is done at the site of the reader kit where yes the chip is indeed inserted and then disposed of...need to think outside the box sometimes...like what the bad guys do.

Hi Gerry, No I wouldn't. I was just putting it out there as a potential risk that some might be so desperate to be able to travel or go somewhere they could find a way to get someone to do the test for them, just like people have with driving tests, immigration tests, sitting exams and so on. That risk could apply to any so called COVID19 passport system in the end not just DVRG's.

Or reverse that idea, a family or group of four friends want to go on holiday or attend an event knowing one of them is Covid positive but they get only one person to do the test, they are negative so they repeat all the tests for the whole family or group of friends have a "negative result" even though only one of them actually took the test. Oops......same could apply in any circumstances, I can see it now with someone who is positive but desperate to go to a footie match who gets a friend to take the breath test for him, he gets the negative result gives it to his mate who goes along to the scanner pops in the chip and hey ho he is good to go...have we found a potential loophole in this test for those who are tempted to cheat the system?

This is a contract for the supply of multi-parameter water quality instruments in order to equip the Environment Agency with the best evidence gathering instruments available.

The instruments will be used for statutory monitoring, (including spot sampling), European Union Directive and Environment Management investigations.

Equipment will normally be transported by vehicle then carried to a sampling /deployment location by a member of staff.

I see Boots are getting absolutely slated over their in store COVID 19 test in 12 minutes...because they are charging £120 a test. People are furious about that. We all know someone who says that they can do it better and cheaper and with a Q Code to boot. I think Boots might regret being first out of the blocks on this, who knows might even want to rethink it and retrofit with a superior and cheaper offering from you know who. I wonder if Gerry has reached out to the bosses at Boots to give them a heads up before they go all in?

I think DVRG will get taken over so not an issue really.

Toon, MWG got too involved in big long term projects that didn't deliver returns but took up huge resources. Gb has refocused them to more short term achievable and higher volume product offerings.
