The main criterion for the Slater screen is the PEG ratio, which compares the price/earnings (P/E) ratio of a company to the earnings growth rate. If the P/E ratio is 10X and the earnings growth rate is 20% then the PEG ratio is 0.5 (lower is better).
Fast growing companies tend to reward investors if earnings growth continues or their P/E (price to earnings ratio) rating improves. When both factors occur together the resulting share price momentum can be dramatic.

"We are pleased to confirm that Avacta's rapid antigen test detects the B117 strain, an important variant of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and one which is especially prevalent in the UK. We have also shown that our test detects the D614G variant, the current dominant global strain.
We will continue to monitor the performance of the Affimer reagents with future dominant variants as they become available to us. Since the Affimer reagents we use in Avacta's range of SARS-CoV-2 tests do not bind in the region of the spike protein where the dominant mutations appear, we do not anticipate that the performance of the tests will be affected.
Now that we have developed a robust lateral flow test architecture, we can easily insert Affimer reagents that that can be very rapidly developed for new variants if necessary, and indeed in response to any other future pandemic virus.

Samples are being taken at sewage treatment works in each of Scotland's 14 NHS health board areas.
They are then tested for fragments of Covid-19 in ribonucleic acid (RNA) which is produced by the body.

Results show the impact that targeted community testing can have – identifying 251 asymptomatic cases of COVID-19 that might otherwise have gone undetected, helping to break chains of transmission within those communities.

The amount of RNA present provides a useful indication of how many people have the condition.
Sepa says up to a half of the population will be represented in the sampling trial.

In order to better target community testing, waste water sampling undertaken by SEPA and Scottish Water to track COVID prevalence has also been expanded to around 160 tests per week, supported by £1.1 million in additional funding.

I almost feel like a retail mug actually. Holding a falling share is not what I expected to be saying by now. We all know the bigger picture for DVRG and its opportunities but it's been painful see this value just slipping by the day as buyers ignore the stock but sellers seems happy to keep on dropping shares. It has to turn one day but how and when.
