Hi it means that they are not referring to the price per share but the fact that each share anyone buys in this company is called 1 share of REGENT INNS PLC ORD 5P. I am assuming that when they initially listed the company each share was worth 5p. They are merely using this term as referenec to the shares in issue and not the cost or price they will pay. This is what I think they mean. So they will not be paying anyone 5p per share. Most companies when they de-list do so, with shareholders still left holding shares. but sadly as they are not easily tradeable they hold little or no value. My take on things.

So it looks like will de-list and has enough support to do from majority stock holders. I assume that until now and that date this stock will continue to fall. I think I have made an error here, looks like shraeholders will just end up with untradeable shares. They ARE NOT going to buy back all shares at 5p as far as I can see. Cheers.

Lots of buys coming through, defo think the market over reacted.

This looks a fair punt. I think the market has over reacted to the news and the fact the company is willing to lay off staff and cut costs is encouraging for the future. Also it seems they have seen a slight rise in US market. Hopeful of this rising back to it's previous levels. Good luck all.
