Yes, @REM was lithium in clay but this is spodumene in rock etc.
However, the Castillo pictures of the exposed intrusions may not have been recognised by some folks, so always helpful to see lithium in all the host forms and what it looks like.

LoL-You were in the old name @REM, a lithium play. DL showed the pic of all the GREYish
top soil at Sonora. Helpful to know what it looks like if one were to look at Castillo Copper's pics of Picasso, WA, Australia and Litchfield, NT, Australia.

As for Charger, they are also LIKE CASTILLO at the bottom end of the Bynoe lithium belt or rather END of Core Lithium's LICENCE area. Core recently gave out assay results of the samples they tested from recall. This licence area they bought is in the MIDDLE of their licence area and close to their NON-JORC lithium deposits. You can look up the results.

CASTILLO'S LITCHFIELD is 900m to the BOUNDARY of the Core Lithium's Finniss JORC deposits and here the lithium grade is so much higher. So, here's hoping for the assays to be...?
As I said MONAX MINING on ASX, Australia [old name] did sample assays for the Lithfield EASTERN side [NOT Western side to Core as at this time] and one can seee the assay results for the rock chips etc.

However, 2 lithium plays here ie Picasso near the Liontown's Buldania etc and
Litchfield near Core's Finniss.

So, just got to wait for results of the assays now.

Recommend. Pleased you are cognisant of what I was saying about general lithium pegmatites and surface expressions and more shallow deposits once drilling confirms.

Also, Picasso has a potential 10km strike per the RNS which is quite a lot?
I recall Charger Metals recent news was 4 potential deposits of 4km? Have to check when I have time.

Just finished reading the article from Mining .com about Caravel takes the "CROWN as Australian's largest copper undeveloped" project in WA, Australia. Caravel tweeted it 24 hrs ago on https://twitter.com/CaravelMinerals

Have a look at the MODEL - look at the KEY and one will see the higher grades are in PINKY RED as norm.

A/c to Mining.com, the cut-off from 0.15% to 0.10% copper is from the ECONOMIC SCOPING STUDY.

Secondly, if one looks at the MODEL, there is a lot of BLUE etc which is the lower grades.

It said in the article that they will MINE THE HIGHER GRADES and LEAVE THE LOWER GRADE as STOCKPILE FOR LATER F E E D OR BENEFICATION.

Given the copper price, I am only using logic that these stockpiles of lower grades will come in handy when the copper price is forecast to increase.

There has been news about PERU shutting or wanting to shut down 4 mines of Hoschilds.
Share price fell a few days ago quite drastically and then recovered to -27% region although it was a/c to the FT Editor of Natural Resources -57% from his screenshot.

So, Peru news has been hitting on other copper forums and Shaun Day mentioned it from recall that Havieron in Australia being a Tier 1 jurisdiction has advantages.

Anyhow, that is the industry copper news, so Mr Bird, the Executive Chairman is very
up-to-date as he did mention that some of these South American countries are having issues.
XTR Racecourse is in Australia, a Tier 1 so that is nice.

Hope Mr Bird will enlighten us later as we go along with XTR's results and assays.

I was so pleased and was going to burst from the Caravel news. I read online that Caravel's copper project at Bindi, Western Australia is going to the 4th largest mine. However, Mining.com says Caravel at 2.84Mt of contained copper was going to be "AUSTRALIA'S LARGEST UNDEVELOPED copper project in Australia" and that was when I had to come back to post to Mr Bird.

From Solgold's presentations, No 1 undeveloped copper project is ONTO in Indonesia and then No 2 is Solgold's Cascabel and CARAVEL is also listed in the RANKING a bit further down. However, that must have been based on the OLD MRE at 2.46Mt earlier @0.15% cu cut off.
Now, the latest upgraded MRE is 2.84Mt @ cut-off 0.10% cu copper.

XTR 's mkt cap is £41.3 Million @4.89p today, 24.11.21.

So, hoping for a good Christmas and Nw Year update from XTR once the rest of the other 8 holes comes in. I am sure XTR has moved from Hole 32 possibly?

Nice to know ONLY 8 holes more to go for Stage 2 drilling finished. Then, maybe, a INITIAL MRE for XTR's Racecourse.

Personally, I am encouraged by Caravel as I dont know much about the Arizona copper project Mr Bird, XTR Chairman mentioned but I know about Caravel and the GRADE OVERALL of 0.24% cu must stun FTF [Ted]

Caravel's mkt cap was A$140.33 Million = £75 Million [FX £1=A$1.85]
52 wk high 0.63c and low 0.08c
Current price : 0.36c [so the market cap at 0.63c earlier = HIGHER MKT CAP than £75m]

Caravel's MRE at 2.84Mt of contained copper is more than what XTR need at 2Mt.

So, Caravel is INDUSTRY NEWS that even at an overall average of 0.24% cu, it is ONE of the LARGEST copper undeveloped projects in Australia.

I recall Captainbob who attended the London XTR AGM and London with Colin Bird saying that you eplained that the HIGHER the ore, the lesser the grade needs to be and the HIGHER the grade, the lesser the ore needed to produce 2Mt of contained copper. However, I did NOT attend these 2 meetings but I believe you gave a POTENTIAL grade as a HYPOTHESIS which has to be confirmed later once Stage 2 drilling is finished. At the last count, Stage 2 drilling was at HOLE 32 = 8 HOLES LEFT to do for Stage 2 to finish [20 holes in total. Stage 1 drilling was also 20 holes + historical JORC].

As a shareholder of XTR, I was pleased to read the Caravel story although you mentioned an Arizona copper project and BODA vs XTR. So, I had to come back to this forum as I know via interviews you said you read the forums.

Cadence Minerals on AIM issued an RNS on 22.11.21:
"Castillo Geo Team undertook considerable mapping across the PICASSO lithium project although much of the time was focused on the tenures NORTH-EAST QUADRANT where the HIGH DENSITY PEGMATITE corridor is located. Encouragingly, a circ ---10km ZONE of pegamatite occurance was CONFIRMD in the tenure north-east quadrant which is the BEST EXPOSED PART of the PICASSO lithium project. Notable the pegmatite potential ...this is subject to further investigation."

"Kiran Mozaria, CEO of Cadence Minerals: We are pleased to note the progress initially undertook ..."

My comment:
In general, even the Aussie know that pegmatites can be seen from the SURFACE but NOT all of it. So, it is always encouraging to see EXPOSED pegmatites which has to be assayed as well. However, drilling can CONFIRM beyond surface/exposed pegmatites via assays for lithium grades. Lithium tends to be subjected to WEATHERING and hence NOT all can be seen on the surface or exposed. On Castillo Copper, someone also posted that. Cadence optioned out Picasso and Litchfield to Castillo. So, 2 projects , one near Liontown's Buldania in WA, Australia and the other at Northern Territory, near Core's Finniss project. Core has only the 1 project in NT.

Thanks for asking about me. I am expecting an RNS or ANN as they call it in Australia, so I usually start checking over that end.

So, unless there is a ANN in Australia, I dont come over to the Lse site.

I am waiting for the lithium assay results. A previous ASX co owned Litchfield and they did do rock sample assays on the Eastern side. However, this time, the rock samples are on the WESTERN BOUNDARY to Core Lithium's DFS deposits.

I know that lithium is not popular on this forum so I keep quiet.

I tend to do research so I am busy looking up all the lithium plays in Brynoe Belt where
Litchfield [CCZ] are located.

Samples ie soil and rock have been sent to the lab for assays and should be back shortly.
So, waiting for the results.
This will also include PICASSO, near Liontown's lithium project in WA, Australia.
Litchfield is next to Core Lithium's Finniss project in Northern Territory , Australia.

Cadence has OPTIONED out both the projects to Castillo of Australia.

LoL - What a surprise that Kiran Mozaria's Cadence shareholder has come over to Castillo.
I followed LITCHFIELD [and Picasso] lithium projects to Castillo when Cadence OPTIONED these 2 projects out.

I had been mentioning Litchfield until Kiran Mozaria said we dont make much of it etc and then
one morning, I saw the RNS from both Castillo and Cadence.

So, here we are at the SPODUMENE story.

On Australian forums, even the Core Lithium people have a thread on Castillo*s lithium projects instead of their own. Other forums are also talking about LITCHFIELD [CCZ].

Tried yeserday dummy buys and sells and found one could only get limited shares for buys.
Then, one was offered a tiny bit more to sell. Then, the spread towards closing time narrowed further between buy and sell. So, not surprised this morning , the price moved up as such.

On Twitter, they showed a map on the CCZ thread, that another co has PEGGED ground VERY CLOSE to PICASSO [CCZ's option in] lithium project in WA, Australia.

John Holiday, 1 of the 3 geo*s who discovered Cadia -Ridgeway said that the structures were like fingers. He showed the chart of Cadia-Ridgeway in his new co where he acts as the Technical Director. So, Racecourse Hole 25 downhole data would have been insightful, hence the XTR RNS description as earlier posted verbatim. Not sure whether Tooday*s Geophysics could reach thus far but certainly down-hole data and indications are really helpful.

So, Mr Bird, a wonderful outcome to Hole 25.

Mr Bird, I want to thank you personally for affording me the opportunity of investing in your co.
If not for your interview last year, near Christmas and the mention that you will be drilling Racecourse [deep holes] just like the "good ole* days of Solgold", I would NOT have twigged the depth of the porphyry.

I was a Havieron and was looking for another prophyry play. Hence, I came over and Mr Cornford then picked up on XTR.

I do not have a lot of shares as I dont tend to throw the kitchen sink in and hence, why I would need a good price when it comes to any potential XTR exit strategies. I am looking at a much more conservative price than you cited as that would be a reasonable return for me.

The positive thing is that you kindly gave an interview yesterday and it was insightful which has helped some of us gain clarity even though geophysics from Tooday is insightful.

I wish you the best and success as this Racecourse will cement your legacy and hopefully
this turns out much more than Racecourse, whether in the XTR stable or otherwise.

Given I had shares last night and this morning it is still in my account, I can give price
of 5.10p to sell and 5.20p to buy [not live price]. Yesterday, before your interview, the price was only 4.9p+ but today the selling price is much stronger whilst the buy price is still the same as this morning but a little higher.

Without a lot of shares, there was never any need for me to amp. But research has paid off and the Apr 2020 Presentation from XTR was the paper that helped me see where this was going.
