That will 'coincidentally' match up with our board announcing a trading update ..... an update that will imo show much better progress than expected on our producing assets and cash/debt position.

Come the 15th, we will fully understand all the institutions positions with this stock and able to draw our own conclusions.

Remember, all dealings have to be reported via 8.5 otherwise they fall foul of the law whilst in an offer period.

No, repeat NO large selling has taken place by any institution to date since the possible offer RNS and we are looking at close to 100% of this stock being held by said institutions. Don't forget, ones below 1% or 7,000,000 shares do not need to declare. how many of these do we have ? These are the ones atm who are running the BoT's imo

Nothing to do with the board, takeover panel rules apply.

By the 15th we could be as high as 95% held by institutions .. amazing level for any stock, let alone one that is apparently about to be sold on the cheap ....

So the push south on our SP is on so they can bag a few more.... time is now running out !!!

Disappointment that OPHR are less than 20% up since the possible offer rns, utter madness.

Many oil companies have risen more than that over the past week without the type of RNS we received.

I can only hope as the bots are still very active someone is loading up for a decent offer to be made.

15th will certainly be a turning point in our SP and I hope, our fortunes too.

StockMarketWire.com - Peel Hunt today reaffirms its buy investment rating on Ophir Energy [LON:OPHR] and cut its price target to 55p (from 58p).

In order for Medco to go hostile, they would need some of the already declared 8.3 to do a deal with as we sit at appox 66% atm with still more to declare imo, plus PI's of course. They require +30%
