Only hours after deploying one crisis-era funding facility, the Federal Reserve on Tuesday unleashed another, potentially more powerful weapon that gives primary dealers on Wall Street cheap loans to snap up a broad array of bonds and stocks.

UK Natural gas has been stable for the past few months .... RRE 40% gas, with Oil hedges at $65.70/bbl and gas at 45p/therm.

The only way 300p will be reached if it happens BEFORE results are out and AA makes his statement next week imo. After initial IPO, share went straight to 345p, so if 300p is reached every single holder, with the exception of IPO participants will be well underwater. This will produce massive buying pressure as everyone knows the situation with RRE and its ability to multi-bag.

In this climate all R&D will be curtailed and the result is prolonged reliance on proven cheap energy supplies, ie fossil fuels.

Alternative energies economics will not stack up ...... oil here to stay for longer imo.

In fact doesn't have to be AA ..... Any PE firm with a few quid could take this private very, very easily and be quids in.

AA needs to do something soon if he's not going to make a move himself. Too much cash on the books and no debt for RRE to be ignored for much longer imo

For an offer of £16/s (£210m) he will get +£40m surplus cash.

What finance house would say no to short term loan based on these metrics ..... loan £210m, in 2 months payback £220m ...

There will never be a better time for AA to live his dream ... offer cash on books, job done !

Circa £20/share .... can not see anyone saying no ..... even at £16 very good chance for making it happen imo

BT up +30% off its low this week .... peeps now seeing value in stock. Just need a classic AA statement next week to start our recover and this should be in / around our bottom imo.

Would not have thought there is a listed company without shorts on atm.

For those that have a short on RRE they would need to close by next Monday, they will not take the risk of AA pulling a rabbit out of the hat against the backdrop of an excellent set of EoY results imo.

Today looks like another poor day on the markets ... FTSE dropped below 5000pts once more this am .... last seen 2011 (with the exception of this week). Next milestone would be the 2008 crash. But if you take into account inflation adjusted index, we almost matched the 2008 crash circa 4700pts (inflation adj) the other day. Problem is the still very over inflated DOW. 2008 stood c6700, currently c20000. When the DOW falls the rest of the world tends to follow.... DOW still sitting only at 2017 levels... darn yanks !

Highly likely imo, they have been working on one for sometime and if not for the virus, I would of said, the deal would now be history.

So, it's quite feasible that one may land next week.

Our results will be an eye opener and for those who have cash, given the good fortune to get in at these low prices.
