I really do hope so, getting very, very tired of waiting for something to happen, acquisition, takeover, farm-in or ACW to break-wind, just need something to tell us SH's that the board is alive and on the case, not siting in the window watching the world go by. Problem I would see is if any deal was close, Rishi's WFT stuck a mother of all spanners into the works .... figures would need to be re-worked and any deal penciled in may now be off the menu too.

btw, yanks really cheese me off, once more .... great recovery today after an unbelievable fall on opening, yet minutes into the yanks coming online, Brent drops ~4% and so do we !!

Agree, probably the same one who close out shorts yesterday that spiked us up, then opened shorts on forthcoming rate hike and played the momentum swing really really well ... >20% down in less than 7 hours of trading time on nothing but sentiment imo.

Opening trade an UT for 6 shares @ 308.5p total value of £18.51 took us down ~10p ( ~3%) ....

This has become a traders share for sure... now down +15pt (~5%) ... :-(

Given recent events and the impact on NBP, it will probably result in higher than anticipated prices by HMG .... Rishi will be under pressure to give away another £650 as the first one ( yet to be issued ) will have been spent on fags, nails, hair, good time down the pub with plenty of coke ( no, not the soft drinks variety ).. sweeping statement I know but I'm sure the press will find a story. The first part payment is due next month .... beer gardens will be packed !!

Looking likely that Q3 will be substantially higher than Q3 2021.

Oh, don't you just love coincidences .... US LNG export terminal last week, outage, yesterday stated the facility will not be fully operational until late 2022... same day Gazprom had an issue, then lo 'n' behold, today yet another 'technical' problem with supplying EU.

"Nord Stream gas supplies further today to now 70mcm/d, down from 167mcm/d last week..."

Just looked at fixing my gas/electric .... can fix at, x4 what I was paying just over 10 months ago when Avro went bust. At this rate Ikea will be doing a roaring trade on flat-packs that customers will turn into firewood... :-(

Given the US re-directed massive amounts of LNG over recent weeks to UK that resulted in a marked reduction in NBP, to the point of over-supply, now that export route is compromised and spare capacity is almost impossible to find from other sources, should see NBP back to elevated levels.
One would also think the market should recognise SQZ supplies ~5% of UK gas and our SP should, I say should, be therefore well into 300's shortly ..... then again, this is SQZ !!

The fire at the US LNG export terminal last week, outage was expected to last ~3 weeks will now not be operational until LATE 2022 .....Guess that's the reason ... less for US to export to EU / UK.

Maverick, all comes down to KIST's mgt and how the market see's their ambition ..... something that SQZ has lacked for the past 5 years. I have money on KIST doing another deal before year or even summer is out. KIST are off ~8% from their ATH, whereas SQZ need ~50% to return to theirs. Maverick, as you say either this has suddenly become a trading share or there are games already being played here.
