Interesting, for me anyhow, is my buy today got pushed through London Stock Exchange where as every other trade on the same platform for ZIOC has always gone via Aquis !! Are we now seeing a shortage of shares, appears so.

Just few weeks after amazing results we are now Oversold on RSI (14) !!! Unbelievable ...

Re-costing was always on the cards imo given the surge in costs / inflation as this would have been demanded by potential buyers in order, among other things, to drill down the offer.... in other words dot the 'i's and cross the 't's.

Technically, the SP needs to 'cool off', nothing more.

UBS raises Asos to 'buy' (neutral) - price target 550 (660) pence

Same MO as Yesterday, SP being pummeled in the afternoon session when yanks come on board and of course BlackRock, Inc !!

Guess we are getting closer to some sort of corporate activity.

I think once more visibility is obtained as to shares in issue, then we will see the SP motor, until then it's in 'everyone's' interest to keep the SP as low as possible, although time is running out to 'get in', or so we are led to believe this morning !!!

No need for equity raise, any offer (share/cash) would be made at prevailing SP of SQZ at the time, say 80m shares at ~250p or more hopefully and probably cash offered too ~£50m. Mercuria, after all, don't want to water-down their controlling influence too much, if at all !

The ~£50m cash as a ~18% SH in Kistos would return AA's initial investment and give him a free ride with SQZ.

Lots of options for any deal as we all know to our own cost (lol) !

Also, SQZ stated that its Board "can see industrial logic in combining the portfolios of the two companies", thus entered into NDA that resulted in an offer for Kistos.

Since SQZ offer for KIST got rejected, the "industrial logic" situation has changed for the better imo with acquisition of Mime Petroleum by Kistos and therefore a 'beach-head' on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

Two bites of the cherry maybe !!!

Either way, I do feel a deal of some nature will be upon us by Xmas at latest.

PS BTW, The reference to a 'beach-head' in Norway is only a relatively new expression used by SQZ that just happens to have coincided with the timing of Kistos's Mime acquisition.

I would have thought ~300-320p would do it imo, given Kistos IPO at 100p only 3 years ago. Although given AA personal wealth plus ~18% holder of KIST he may well look at taking as share/cash deal just so he continues to benefit from his work, whilst he looks, as you rightly mentioned at other 'interests', inc aviation fuel.

Andrew99, Kistos and SQZ had what's best described as a 't i t for tat' exchange middle of last year (see RNS's). A lot has changed for both companies since then, as NQM pointed out SQZ have made it known they are looking for a 'beach-head' in Norway, Kistos would give them that. As for AA being involved with SQZ going forward (something AA wanted last year) think that would be bottom of his list now whilst Mitch was still there, however, if Mitch 'moved' on, then who knows !!! Read Kistos's RNS today ( if not already done so) and presentations, that will give you more of a feel for the company. atb

Was only thinking the same this morning after their interim's..... net debt position !!!

Also AA has gone very quite recently too, from AA interviews earlier this year think EPL / EU taxes may have made AA's mind up for selling out earlier than he would have liked, don't think he will want to wait until 2028 for meaningful profits .... hummm !!!
