Afternoon all,
Relatively new to KEFI, I have been reading through the board, RNS updates along with other research and such. Decided to take the plunge and grab myself some shares. How could I not at this price. Could be risky granted, but there is plenty of potential here.

Ignore negativity, research for yourselves and decide. 9 times out of 10, the negative posts come from someone that has been invested and stung because they misread the market. Never mind.

Stumbled across sound energy when researching the energy market. Did some background research and decided to take a punt at just under 1p, so glad I did.
Been keeping up with the board here and really hope you guys fly out of the red. You have all be positive, upbeat and stuck around. You all deserve the recovery.

Bought in at 5.25p, a little higher than some but with a view to continue topping up.

However, I have just noticed that the article in question that states they mined 519,000 oz of gold in the first quarter was from the motley fool. Soo

I have mentioned this before. On a search of the company you find that they have previously mined 500,000 oz of gold. However, I don't fully believe everything that pops up on a Google search.
Most of what I have heard points to them being exploration only.

You guys and gals have got me hooked on GGP.
The level of knowledge and info that has been shared, the general friendliness of people here and now I can't stop topping up.

I just had a look at IG and they look very transparent and the pricing seems a lot more realistic. I think I might give those a go for more of the bigger trades. Thank you.

Thank you guys, having been chatting on a few other boards, I must say the group here is by far one of the friendliest and most helpful I've come across.

They do seem quite limited. They claim to add new stocks weekly however if they are mostly US stocks then maybe I'll avoid. I don't think there will be many trades I complete above £1k as it is going to be for our little one.

Think I'll take a look at 212, I'll be using whichever platform to drip feed into as it will be for our newborn. So not a main investment tool.

Cheers guys, been tempted for small trades. They claim to have no real fees. Which makes me wonder.

I would hazard a guess that they have very few market makers that they work with currently.

I know it's not strickly related to this share as such. But has anyone heard of or even use the FreeTrade platform?
If so, does anyone have any thoughts on it?

I got in on this one also, however I was a little late as I got in at 5.50.
It still seems to be growing nicely. I'm not too worried as it seems like quite a positive fund. Still plenty of room to rise also.

Sorry for taking up space here. However, even though I am a little late to the party so to speak, I want to thank everyone (mostly) for the great information, discussions and general chat. It has helped to provide a little more understanding to a relative newbie.

I have, today, bought a fair number of shares and plan to buy more. I'm now going through my portfolio and funds to do a little redistribution.

It's a pleasure to be on board for the ride.

Martc, firstly, my apologies on spelling your name wrong, I'm going to blame autocorrect. Although it could just be my baby brains.

I will double check, as I may have misread. Could it be that they were referring to newcrest having mind the said amount of gold as part of the partnership with greatland?

As its late here at the minute, I shall review and post a link to where I read about them mining the aforementioned gold amount.

Also, I hope I didn't come across rude or aggressive in any way. If so it was unintentional, was mearly questioning as that is how we learn. If I am completely wrong, then I apologise.

Mertc, considering they produced 519,000 ounces of gold in the first quarter of this year, they clearly do mine. Not just exploration. Yes exploration is their principle activity, but they produce too.

If this pans out (excuse the pun). Being a small cap mining company, there are potential risks they could run out of money before reaching production. Although there is also the potential for newcrest to purchase the entire company.

Rather happy I added this as part of my portfolio.
