Z. What the hell does the NL gov have to do with fraud??? They have given every chance to AEG, much more than expected, and it is people like you who have seriously misled investors over the supposed amount of timber is available and how expensive it is to get at, not NL gov.
All this information is in government documents which are easily available to the public on their web site. You should have been a shoemaker as you certainly talk a lot of cobblers.
Removing slurry pits and ponds are not an issue if the money is there to pay for it. Simple 1st stage filtering and then secondary distillation means you end up with clean potable water, without the nasties. However, you cant get by on filtering alone and distillation is the only method I know that separates nasties from MATERIAL contaminated water, you obviously need a bacterial filter system like blue UV light/chlorine treatment if the water is for human consumption bu it would still be a damn site better that recycled sewage water we use in the UK.
This is the link to the Navajo report

NAGY. This is a relevant article about the future in Poland as huge chunk of Poland is south of the our south coast and so is good for solar as well as wind. As the Navajo have found there are less jobs digging up coal compared to assembling a solar farm, BUT only if you buy in the panels, once you start making your own and all the secondary and indirect jobs created, it is pretty much a level playing field.
Look at Wales now compared to when the coal mines ceased and all the hooha it caused at the time. Within 5 years the wesh communities moved on an were the better for it. Dont rely on coal jobs to keep the coal industry going in Poland. Poles are bright people and not like welsh Luddites, so dont expect a political crises from the death of the Polish coal industry.. Coalswitch has at best a 10 year life span, and people in control understand that.
It is long realised that long transitions are NOT needed and are actually counter productive. Nobody has to take my word for it, they just have to do some due diligence and attend things like Urban Future in Oslo. The world is changing and it is changing quickly.
By the way, AEG made a big mistake in Newfoundland in not looking at legacy wood waste mountains in Newfoundland. They didnt need fresh timber at all, there are enough sawmill waste to keep AEG plants going for 5-10 years at least. The biggest one I know is in Jamestown, and it is huge, too big to walk, but have DRIVEN over it.
Another big one at Hampden and same at Bloomfield, why use new timber when there is a good million tonnes or more just sitting on the ground looking for a use. The only reason I am telling you about this now is that I realise I will never go back and use them, so no point in hanging on to the info hoping to use them myself.
Nagy I agree on what you say on Poland but I see that changing over the next decade, unless Poland leaves the EU of course. Poland is well suited for renewable energy and I have no doubt it will follow Germany's lead to renewables eventually, possibly sooner than later.
Seattle you are coming up with the same rubbish for the last 18 months and you have been proven wrong every time, the share price tells you that, not me.
Even 5 years ago we recognised that the wood pellet industry was a short term industry and the best you could do then was build , pump and dump, and move on.
The USA is AEG's last and best hope, certainly not Poland.
Coal switch is quickly becoming an obsolete product as renewable energy sources continue to improve and anti pollution laws are getting tougher and tougher, especially in Europe. Even getting permits for burning woody biomass as a fuel is going to be harder and harder and will be replaced as quickly as they can by renewable energy sources.
I was participating as an advisor at a government policy meeting yesterday, and in May I am participating at the Urban Future conference in Oslo and one thing is for sure, coal switch or anything like it is not up for consideration.
The word is changing, just look at the new charges for car in London as just one example. AEG and coalswitch are missing the boat, Their only real hope is in the USA at least for now.
Thanks Nagy. I heard yesterday that funding has been approved in principle on one project., and I am invited to sit on a government policy planning meeting on Monday, so looking good.
Soundsrich, this is not investing, it is gambling based on sentiment and hope. However, I agree with you on the fact that there is nothing to do now but hold as you have nothing to lose, as to putting in more money then that is your call as it is your money.
Nagy. At least the cabinet company is successful and making money, more than I can say for AEG.
It is nearly 2 years now since I have read the 'discussions' about AEF and since then it has gone down from 5p to 0.55p
.
I am not a professional investor, but nearly every day I read about how great AEG is doing and yet the share price says everything. For the last 2 years, you would have made more money investing in a cabinet making company in Eastport, instead of losing your pants on AEG.
I have been attacked and vilified for telling you the truth but I do not like to see ANYONE losing money, and it is frustrating to see how blind some of you are when it comes to AEG..
I have been in the same position as I to dabbled at one time, and initially lost serious money until I learned what to do, and after a few months I started making relatively serious money and made a good average of about 10% a month. Sadly 2009 wiped me out, but it was fun while it lasted. One thing I learned was when to cut my losses no matter how much it hurts at the time.
Actually, it is true and nothing to do with AEG, there is a cabinet making company in Eastport for sale and I was asked if I knew any possible buyers.
Thank you BF. All I have ever done is given accurate industry and local information that could be corroborated, but some people dont like ad news and some just want other people to put money in so they can make money or at least recuperate some of their losses.
I am in regular contact with people in NFL and I get what I would have to call incisive information rather than insider, as insider knowledge means something totally different in investor circles. This last week I have been exchanging emails with an old acquaintance in the government, and basically they have written off AEG though they never took them seriously in the 1st place, which is why they didn't get a good deal, and certainly no funding, but AEG was given the chance and this way the people in the government come out of this with their reputations intact.
Anybody want to buy a woodworking company in Newfoundland making kitchen cabinets??
Talking through your derrier yet again dear boy, I was not just attending. Every time you try to put me down you just shoot yourself in the foot.
I think people should do some due diligence on where the EU funding is supposed to come from.
Read this and read it well. https://www.ncbr.gov.pl/en/programmes/european-funds/
You funny.
If only you knew how much was going on in my life right now. I took part in 2 major UK conferences last week, plus the presentation on funding that I already mentioned. At the same time, I am involved with the Urban Future show in Oslo in May, as well as setting up a training academy in Wales and with luck, I am expecting to hear about the 1st stage funding today.
Wednesday I attended a meeting with council officials with regards to a 140 acre site and a training center to turn it into an innovation and training center for agriculture, and it is probable that we will be taking the lead on this multi million pound project.
In the last couple of months, I have been involved in meetings in Germany and Holland and we are currently working on collaborating on possible projects in Africa. So if you call that nothing you must be busier than Theresa May.
As always you know nothing of what you speak, how sad and petty.
EU grants are normally only a portion of project money, anywhere between 40-70%, plus grants are only paid out on a reclaimed basis.
In other words, you have to spend your money and then claim it back. They also need to see your matched funds (AEG) percentage of the funds before anything is agreed. This is NOT a grant where someone just gives you cash unconditionally.
If AEG cannot show that they have the matched funding then they dont get a thing, very much the chicken and egg conundrum.
Rules are tight and very restrictive, I just went to a presentation on this last Friday so I do know what I am talking about.
Does anybody know under what scheme the EU funding is being made available??
Actually Andritz do NOT have a good name in the industry. Some of the big plant failures in the US have been attributed to their bad layout/system design.
aye aye cap'n
Internet through a wobbly before I finished. It is Mitchelmore not Mychelmore.
As to Olliltd, if you dont like what I post dont read it, simples. You just show yourself up to be an idiot making childish comments like that. Grow up.
The news is just local information and demonstrates how slow things move there.
A typo, Chris Miychelmore is the NL minister for Industry and Innovation AND tourism. He is also the local representative which includes Rodrickton. Very much a local boy and has always tried hard to get business to come to the area. He is on record saying the Roddiction mill should get no more funding after they wasted the last $10 million loan, and all the money they have had since under the table. The premier is also on record saying that.
