The Share price isn't that relevant MMgames, it's the market cap that is comparable.. Simec Atlantis energy £48 milion v eqtec £22 million . Still undervalued..

Ganfeng Review and Process Testwork

As a result of the return to work in China in late April 2020, the Ganfeng lithium test plant and project team resumed work on the Sonora flow sheet optimisation and process engineering. Whilst some weeks of engineering were lost, completion of the flow sheet engineering is still scheduled for Q3 2020 after which Ganfeng will provide Bacanora with an Engineering, Procurement and Construction ("EPC") style engineering proposal to produce downstream battery grade lithium products from Sonora. This timetable remains under regular review but is now scheduled for end of Q4 2020, subject to Ganfeng receiving all required equipment and engineering proposals from its equipment suppliers

Ganfeng Lithium ("Ganfeng"), like all Chinese companies, was severely impacted by the travel restrictions imposed by the Chinese Government to slow the spread of Covid-19 during February and early March. Although these restrictions are now being lifted, the return to work has been slow. Ganfeng's main lithium processing plant at Xinyu is resuming operations and lithium production is building up. As a result of this return to work, the Ganfeng test plant and project team have also resumed work on the Sonora flow sheet optimisation and process engineering. Whilst some weeks of engineering have been lost, completion of engineering and equipment selection is now scheduled for Q3, 2020. Subsequently, Ganfeng will provide Bacanora with an Engineering, Procurement and Construction ("EPC") style engineering proposal for the production of downstream battery grade lithium products from the Sonora lithium plant. This schedule remains under regular review in relation to the ongoing Covid-19 situation and shareholders will be updated regularly as the engineering process develops

The Bacanora project team in Mexico continues to progress the final design work for the mine site, infrastructure, concentrator and kiln sections of the processing plant. Representative samples have been sent to Ganfeng in China. Ganfeng's technical review of the hydrometallurgical circuit has commenced with a view to potentially sourcing key sections of the lithium production equipment from their current equipment suppliers in China. This work is expected to be completed in H1 2020. As part of this technical review, both Bacanora and Ganfeng continue to develop testwork programmes for the potential production of other downstream high value lithium products in addition to the battery-grade lithium carbonate used in the Company's feasibility study. The results of this work will be reviewed over the next few months.

Ganfeng to advance Sonora in H2 2019

'Ganfeng has recently announced its intention to proactively advance the development of Bacanora's Sonora lithium clay project during the second half of 2019. This is in addition to work being undertaken by Ganfeng in China, Australia and Argentina as part of a series of planned manufacturing capacity expansions to capitalise on the growing demand for lithium and solidify its leading position in the lithium products industry. In China, work continues to increase the capacity of Ganfeng's battery-grade lithium carbonate production line in Ningdu County, Jiangxi Province which has reached its 17,500 tonnes per annum designed capacity and achieved its 2019 production targets. In addition, Ganfeng intends to build a battery grade lithium hydroxide production line with a 50,000 tonnes per annum capacity at Basic Lithium Plant in Xinyu with commissioning targeted in 2020. These initiatives will support Ganfeng's target of 200,000 tonnes per annum lithium carbonate equivalent production capacity by 2025, although final capacity expansion will be based on changes in, and assessment of, future market demand for lithium products.'

So a 100% on a 6 month timeline then.. another delay tactic imo....

I sometimes wonder if PS prefers this bit rather than an actual working mine.. what is it 2023 now for production? Talk about one of the longest mine set up in history...
