Certainly a very interesting time for vod. The bod have clearly given it a lot of thought, they just haven’t articulated that to share holders and media at this time. Presumably lots of number crunching to do first. I sincerely hope that the new company is still tied to vod as I believe it ought to be a cash cow, which in turn will assist in bringing the debts down. R365... I agree totally with you. The electorate should ensure that not one MP that is currently sitting in Parliament gets a seat at the next GE. We may have a chance then of seeing democracy in action with a new, albeit inexperienced team

LTI, correct that saving can reduce debt IF they so choose. I hope they do and do it wisely, as I said I’ve been a vlth of this share and would like to see a return on my money while I’m the right side of the dirt lol

My first venture into vod was around 250 a fair while ago. I’ve managed to top up and bring my price average down to 167. I feel as if I’ve held these shares forever. I hope they can live up to the hype before taking on more debt. A question for you Longish, will the new tower company still be owned by vod or are they going to sell the masts to dispense with them?

Mikey, I’ve been a vlth of Vodafone, too long if truth be known. While they were paying a brilliant divi I didn’t mind keeping hold of them. However, since they cut the divi rate by 40% they are a lot less attractive, even if it is still very attractive. I know good times will come but the stock market might as well close for Vod dealing within 30 minutes of opening because it goes nowhere and does nothing. Everyday I hope today will be the day that the sp moves upwards again, but alas not. I think it will take some very good news to see things move again.

Have you seen his latest masterpiece. Telling all American companies to start making plans to pull out of China and open factories in the USA. You couldn’t make it up if you tried, maybe that’s where his massive deals are going to come from for the UK. Him and BOJO are well suited

Hi TF, thanks for the info. I hope the charts and you are correct as that would just about get me to my break even point. As a very long term holder of Vod and sat nursing losses for a long time it will be nice to see them turn blue instead of red
