Jack, I’m with you on this one. I’ve been burned by Vod for years and no end in sight. I’m waiting for some big funds (I hope) to come from EUA when they relist. Then my plan is to by some more yet again to bring my sp average down. The one thing that always kept my chin up was the divi, but as we’ve seen they even cut that. I don’t know where the low point is for Vod but I hope the bod can pull a rabbit out of a hat and get the world to love them again cos there’s only so much pain investors should be expected to take before the bod have to start falling on their swords. Even if this isn’t entirely their fault it’s all happened on their watch. GLA

Since I’m neutral in this argument that seems to be dragging on, would you all accept my word, if I called WHI tomorrow and asked if the flanks would have to have a RNS? I’m quite happy to.

Shed, I really hope you are correct, and as you say they did have the opportunity to do so last time. After the complaint that I (and others) put to the authority’s about possible manipulation of the sp I’d have hoped something might be said in certain circles. Then we might have seen the sp start to rise, unfortunately not and we are where we are. However, imminent news to come and hopefully a rerate to somewhere higher than we are. GLA

Oil, what’s your take on TPs note, does it cause you any concern or am I looking at it with a jaundiced eye and reading into it something that doesn’t exist?

Well said Cobra8. I’m hoping so too, but would rather the sp came up to 0.03 so that I’m not selling at a loss to do it. GLA

Jupiter, well done I just listened to LR and he’s really positive about what these results mean. I’ll listen to it again and again because that aught to be telling the industry and potential investors that we’ve got a fantastic mine here just waiting to be developed. GLA

Talk about after the Lord Mayor’s show. It happens every time an RNS is released. A little blip upwards then straight back down again. Today’s RNS is the best produced so far and still we can’t get our heads back above 0.03. Looking at the volume it’s not massive so why the drop back down again. I’m open to any suggestions. GLA

Looks like an extremely positive RNS. Let’s see how the market perceives it and see if our broker comes on board with a re-valuation. GLA

One nice thing about getting in at this level again is that it’s brought my sp average down to about 0.028 so if we do get a nice little bounce up on some news it won’t be too long before I see it in the blue again. GLA

Cahus, I bought £500 worth today at about 12:25. Hasn’t made a bit of difference to the sp though ;-))))

I’ve just called the NOMAD to ask if there is any update that they can give on the suspension of EUA and on the first asking got told there was nothing that they can add. On the second asking when I suggested that a clarification of one’s position with a bank could probably be done over the phone in an hour and since it’s been a month since we were suspended, I was asked to wait on the line. When the lady came back on she said that they had no comment to make and “we are really sorry but can’t help any further “. So whilst it is the information I was expecting to get from them it does go to show that whatever is going on still cannot be disclosed. ATB

Wk, it can be a pain in the butt, however, in their defence, it is free. GLA

Definitely not a day to be invested anywhere at the moment, I don’t know how long it will take for the sp to get back to the 150s but I think we’re going to have a lot of heartache between now and then. I also wouldn’t be surprised to see the IPO of the tower company delayed until conditions are more favourable. GLA

Only my opinion but I really hope that they can delay any news, because I think it would get swamped by current affairs and end up as a damp squib. Good news is on the inside of the papers and right now would definitely not be headline grabbing stuff as it won’t sell as many newspapers as the misery that the press can peddle
