Stephan Bernstein, CEO of GreenRoc, details the PFS results for the new graphite processing plant. Watch the video here.
We also need to factor in Boris Wanting to save Christmas. Hopefully the science about antibodies providing immunity will be further solidified by Christmas and these tests could be used for more than 6 people to meet at a time.
Always a good sign IMO when the employees see value in the company even for short or long term gain. Also shows the company value the employees by offering the chance.
YGen has been on my radar for a while since back in March while I came across it as a key supplier of reagents for Covid kits for NYCT. I invested back then and like people of you was surprised the sp didn’t rise as much as the other Covid stocks but maybe that is about to change. I can see Ygen becoming the Manchester hub for lab based testing to the private sector to supplement its genetics tests which obviously are its core business. A very nice business which I’m sure will bring slow steady but sustained rises in share price over the next 6-12 months.
Hi all, newly invested here on the basis of previous performance has been stable, Wey are recruiting a lot of teachers at the moment and let’s be frank if a 2nd lockdown does happen in the next month due to poor track and trace and Covid testing then the schools may need to close and force kids to study from home. Wey is an online provider of secondary school education with online teachers available 24/7. I see the results due in Oct/ nov to be very positive.
The times article did reference the Heathrow saliva tests aka mologic ones currently under investigation with one other make ( the third having been dropped due to dodgy claims). We are the manufacturer of the mogolic ones if picked for mass screening at airports.
Lots of people are saying why aren’t the media talking about the abc tests and the more I think about it the more the lack of our test in the wider media the more I think there is a media blackout regarding this until the government order is confirmed which can only be done when MHRA approval for home use is achieved. The NHS app currently has built in antibody test upload capacity, currently hidden until the official government announcement.
This will be one of the few things the government can point to as a success, it’s all there if you just look between the lines. Happy Sunday
Now the RTC has published a glossy professional white paper on our test we need to get this out as wide as possible. Please tweet and share the link as much as possible it’s only a matter of time until the national news outlets pick up the story. If they don’t what does that tell you, media blackout pending official launch?

Please no 3rd speeding ticket. The Abc white paper is what’s causing this, No reason to issue a ticket. Please CK no ticket
100% this
Colin has confirmed ongoing discussing with government regarding numbers to be ordered, price points etc multiple times.
Odx raised 10million from a 40p placing to scale up manufacturing kit very unlikely another placing will be due, this new kit is set up as per twitter videos
Colin and the crew have taken on shareholder feedback and are now engaging with us via Twitter, see last two Sunday tweets, surely they are trying to give us hints within the allowed LSE rules of what’s to come
Facts we know for sure below, happy to hear counter claims
Abingdon developed an app that accepts a QR code on the LFT to upload result - NHS app launches tomorrow after heavy delay possibly due to intergration issues and linking into NHS systems
Leak of “first one million pound government order” From BBI, rapidly removed from twitter
Abingdon and Odx hiring a range of staff from production line, scientists and order managers
MHRA approval due very soon, probably fast tracked to have response within 14 days, this is a device similar to diabetes self tests available over the counter in boots, they are not going fail as existing devices are approved.
Odx have more kit on site, set up and are probably rolling out these tests as we speak
Please add anything more I may have missed but only facts people
I think you touch on a good point here. Time is against us and we can’t let perfect be the enemy of the good eg waiting years for the prefect test when we have a 99% one developed in 6 months. Same with the saliva antigen test we need the best test we have rolled out as soon as possible and this will be a factor in MHRA approval. Once the Odx test is fully approved R&D isn’t going to just stop, they eg Abingdon, will be working on Mark 2 test and so on for years to come. Hopefully we will have a large chunk of the market by the time the 100% accurate test arrives
This is where the government backing of the RTC will help with fast tracking
On that note it’s good Odx have the food stuff and CD4 lines instead of being just a Covid share
Hi Pandy, we don’t mean to get personal the reason I don’t filter anyone is I want to hear both sides and not become one sided. I think we are on to a winner with Odx, I think Colin is doing his best and a good job, not great but he’s a scientist not PR expert.
I think the next few days will be interesting, it will drop on no news as the newbie PIs get nervous and bail but people who have done the research and see between the lines will hold on. Odx is a difficult share to hold but will be good in the end
They have been burnt once on the topic of antibody test eg the China ones. These U.K. ones need to be beyond reproach and pass all the correct testing
Key facts, Abingdon and Odx are hiring staff while other companies are sacking thousands by the day, Abingdon hired like 50 technicians to run 24 h shifts. You do not do this and but a good company at risk without massive orders lined up either from government or externally
On the topic of orders, I agree the lack of orders outside of the U.K. government is concerning however if Odx is under a NDA with the government perhaps output is already pencilled in for the government and as soon as MHRA approval is obtained the order will be confirmed and the RNS released followed by government announcing the test showing Great Britain science at its best etc. If ever Boris needed a positive PR story around testing and each nation of the U.K. working together for a shared common goal it’s the RTC.
The silence is deafening IMO
Similar to avacta yes, but if fab can be first to market this 100% specific antigen and it becomes the benchmark reagent on which treatments and diagnostics are developed and tested against I think this company will go global
