Oil research in Niger is increasingly fruitful, which attracts greed.
In fact, following the discovery of four oil deposits in the Agadem Basin, Indian and Chinese companies are currently negotiating with British independent explorer Savannah Petroleum, who has already started drilling a fifth well. To integrate its capital, we learned from a source close to Savannah.
These include the ONGC (Oïl and Natural Gas Corporation) and the Chinese oil company Zhenhua who have already undertaken, according to some sources, discussions with Savannah for a partnership for the management and production of oil in Niger .
It must be remembered that the British company has been cleared by the Nigerian government to start producing oil by the end of this year.
The CGSB, one of the world's oil giants, is going to have a series of meetings with the British explorer in Niamey, London and New Delhi by the end of this month, with the aim of achieving a partnership through which the CGSB will buy shares in the R1 / R2 and R3 / R4 license areas of Savannah in Niger and, possibly, in the Uquo and Stubb Creek fields in Nigeria, it has been learned.
And with regard to the Chinese oil company Zhenhua, she met, according to the same sources, officials of Savannah Petroleum in the presence of officials of the Ministry of Oil, at the last China-Africa forum. During their discussions, these personalities discussed the prospect for the Chinese company to participate in the management of the R1 / R2 and R3 / R4 blocks.
Also, Sinopec, another Chinese organization, wants to take a stake in the four discoveries already made.
Boom 😂
