For me Looney needs to keep pumping and off set it against green energy to make us carbon neutral. As for lowering the dept the banks don't like it and the share price drops when we lower the dept.
I'm a long term holder with a average price of £4.60 due to reinvesting dividend and some purchases. The share price ain't going above £5 until they double the dividend , 8% precovid level and oil at $45 a barrel , which looks like after 2025.
Thanks for the replies as I'm sitting in a van all day and was wondering if anything serious had happened. Looking better now and hope the US pushes us up this afternoon. Regards Neil
Mr Loopy said 5% divi and buy backs on the understanding of $55 pb. Even after selling of parts of the company I hope he increses the divi for us long time holders with an average price of over £4
I'm a long time holder and will be in my lifetime but my average is 480p so I'm only getting 3% at best. We've sold loads of assets off and transforming into a renewable energy company which I think won't pay huge amounts. Look at the SP last time oil was $70. OK, plans and cruise ships are off but China and the US are using more oil than before covid. That's my I want Looney gone because if I wanted to invest in a green energy company I wouldn't have bought BP.
