How many more times will I see it reported that “Evraz paid £450million in dividends to Roman”. Multiple articles and idiots on twitter fail to understand that dividend ‘announced’ is not the same a being ‘paid’.
As we all (painfully) know it was not paid, yet it’s used in every article I read when mentioning the link between Evraz and RA. It’s a deliberate use of incorrect information to demonise Evraz. The demon here is Putin and his regime.

I couldn’t agree more. All the nonsense behind the suspension will surely be cleared up in time. meanwhile Evraz is still in operation, we don’t see the constant rollercoaster SP on every bit of news. Happy to be back in action when war is over, hopefully soon!

This is the type of thing I come to read on here. It doesn’t have to be positive (but if helps), but opinion with some reasoning. Exhausting trying to sift through the playground squabbles. Thanks Sangcity

This is all very messy and of course very worrying.
In the long term I can see Evraz getting out of this, however like you, I am also worried about the asset grabbing that may happen. Hopefully we and our allies have enough of Russian assists to ‘grab’, should that be VP’s plan, and that act as a deterrent.

I believe the Gov know Evraz is not ‘guilty’ in all this but need to be appearing to do something to hush the thirsty public and media. There is no way this suspension is not getting lifted as there nothing substantial so far.

I’ve bought over the last few days, average about 70p. I will be holding this for a long time or until it gets back to it’s pre war glory. Strong company and an absolute steal at these prices.

Hoping for a positive outcome of negotiations over the weekend and this will jump straight up.
