Rodney your post is straight out of aroks misleading posts.
Your post.
"this company has a NPV of towards $4 billion now. 28p amounts to about a third of that. I'd rather keep the asset, see large shareholders sell up if they want to, appoint new management and press on."
1, the npv means what the company could hope for.
2, the market value is what's important, 28p
3, there is not a scrap of evidence to support a counter bid, in fact quite the opposite.
4, has it crossed your mind who those large share holders may sell to.
5, if they sell to jcc, which is highly likely, where do you think that will leave solg.
6, yes, they may have funds to carry on for a year ( I personally doubt it). But carry on in complete mothballs, as no funds for anything but survival.
7, what do you think the new management will do differently with no funds.
8, when our present management team arrived, you hailed them as demi gods. So that didn't work to well for your insight.
9, how bad will a cash raise be for solg, with the lenders knowing we are up siht Creek.
10 if jcc accquire enough shares ( as will be highly likely), they will install their own directors, run down the sp, and pick up solg for a pittance.
Happy for you to correct any of points .
