Savvy - say the storm harbour update gets released and the IIs have not finished loading up, do you expect us to still be kept at this level?

I’m really cheesed off with the pull back! 5% rise after waiting all that time. Grrrrrrrr hope storm harbour comes early next week.

Been a day or so since I checked in, good to see you all getting along as usual hah.

Thanks for all the advice from weathergeek, wolf, JR, peace and others. Apologies if I missed anyone.

Still clenching my cheeks and hoping SYME does the business. Did slightly derisk by taking a small chunk account at .52 and putting elsewhere. The majority is here and I’m still confident I’ll hit my initial target of the 1p fairly soon. Even though the SP is down, I’m feeling positive and remaining patient. Side note - I think I have found a few grey hairs since I started investing.

To be honest, I’m not quite sure how it snowballed so quickly that I ended up in such a mess. But hey here I am. I will no doubt wait as I have little alternative and this is the last roll of the dice.

The only frustrating thing is that I have suffered from depression in the past and I don’t like to admit it but this situation is now bringing back old demons. It plays on my mind way more than I would like and I find myself not being able to concentrate on my work or anything else for that matter. I can’t even keep fit with my current injury so not many options to take my mind off the losses.

Peace123 - don’t often talk about money or losses as I’ve been in 1/2 situations over the years and just felt like letting off some steam today with my post. Appreciate your kind words and offer brother, hopefully it doesn’t come to that and syme will save my backside. Otherwise, you might just have to hah. I have a smidgen of hope left, we shall see. I’m just exhausted to be honest with it all. Hope you and your family are well, god bless.

I have put everything I have in this and get sweating on a daily basis.

I started investing June/July. Initially I only planned on investing 3k max in a COVID stock. However, moved around a bit and made a fair few bad decisions along the way, e.g. ended up selling for small losses, trying to make them up elsewhere and getting burnt some more. That quickly led me to a 13k hole.

Fast forward a few months and I am another 13k deep here in syme (total inv26k - 13k loss, 13k in syme) with the intention of holding and making some good returns. I’m really hoping this comes good towards the back end of the month as I’m really wishing I never got involved in stocks in the first place.

All I can say is whatever stock the newbies are in don’t make the same mistakes I did. just sit tight and you won’t get yourself in a mess. The reality is the average joe is not good enough to trade and will inevitably get in a mess along the way.

I hope this breaks 1p or Ill be done and dusted for good. Good luck all

To all the genuine investors, ignore these absolute donkeys. Trust in your own research and the quality of AZs updates. The man is delivering. Okay the SP may not flying to the moon, but if you want to chase rainbows buy the lottery. Patience will be rewarded here!

AZ is the man. Keeping my 3m shares for years baby. Just read SYME’s last two RNSs and try not to get a woody. I dare ya!

Careefour is a retail giant. They would not have got involved without extreme due diligence. Having them onboard installs great confidence and eradicates any concerns I had regarding SYME.

Every time AZ does something good, they try and find anything to cling onto to discredit his good and regular updates.

Today is all positive, steer clear of these trolls and don’t pay any attention to them. The number of them seems to be increasing as SYME goes from strength to strength.
