Charles Jillings, CEO of Utilico, energized by strong economic momentum across Latin America. Watch the video here.
Yes jolly, AAU looks cheap. Maybe the turn off are JVs they're mixed up in meaning the deposit would need to look really attractive to make it worth all the aggravation for one of big boy to take them out. No such complication with AME
In addition to the JORC resource, if the company can demonstrate a potential to take it 1 Million ozs and beyond, Randgold and others will come sniffing around. That will make the current SP look super cheap.
You may be right BroncoWarrior with the first part. But 1g/t doesn't cut the mustard and there's lots of that stuff around in Mali. Randgold mine around 3g/t a Loulou. That's your bench mark. Drill results so far suggest an acceptable JORC resource to be declared - but no fireworks. After the recent board clear out there now seems to be some canny guys (including the Chairman) running the company. They're not going to sit around for ever enjoying their £1/annum without a plan in mind.
Excepting CEO Jones, each Board member gets £1/y. Saves cash - important - but the statue quo ain't permanent. Jones said in the last RNS Jones that Archer 'would support the Company's plans of expanding its geographical reach etc'. So I see him as a key player. And out of the goodness will Mr Archer continue to do this for £1/y. No way, Jose. There has to be a bigger picture and JORC is only part of it. Join up the dots. The company is in transition. I smell change in the air. Dust off those old PO savings accounts empty out the piggy bank and load up. The SP wont stay where it is much longer.
This will be open pit mining. The RC drilling programme is shallow based and doesn't give structure necessary for U/G. As the H1 deadline nears and the declaration of JORC resource becomes imminent I don't understand why the SP continues south. Folk generally sell in anticipation of bad news!? Hope not.
Yep, agreed sage. Been with this share almost from the start. When the big hitters came in recently and cleared out the board, it could prove to be a seminal moment. Remember there are many tools in geos armoury, and not costly ones, which could have been employed gainfully at the beginning and would have better focused the exploration effort. Churchouse was a big loss when he walked, and frankly they seem to have lost their way. But as they say, we are where we are. All you guys in at 3p to 5p will make money. However if one of the big boys are minded to come in now, there's no way they'll pay silly money unless it's suddenly bonanza time.
CEO Jones says something about 'geographical reach' what's all that about? Is he thinking of exiting Mali? I'm not convinced the maiden JORC will do much for the share price. It's been too long coming. Sorry to be negative.
DWY are too small to do anything serious at Muremera. A 500K drilling programme isn't going to set the world alight. After BHP they need a deal with one of the other big players in that sector. Who else of note is active in that region? Take note of the carefully crafted statement from the CEO posted on Miningmx at the end of April. There's only one play in town at the moment folks. It's gold. This is where the ride is taking you. Nickel is10yrs down the track!
In my view the current trades reflect a lot of speculation and mis-informed opinion about where the company is going and don't reflect the CEO's vision per her recent shareholders letter. Nobody will be complaining when the shares hit 10p in 3/4 months time.
Something is stirring. Don't miss the ride!
You know Sandhopper, Allied have their hands on a fabulous deposit. The farm in Agreement with a Barrick subsidiary was very positive. The loss of Jeff Moore the MD was not a positive development and may have contributed to the price drop along with the other factors. A lot of the these juniors are wannabe miners and they need the right guy to drive operations. What Jeff Moore's replacement is like I don't know but unless he has a proven track record as an operator we will have a 'Titanic' situation. You're right that it provides a buying opportunity. Perhaphs Barrick will get exasperated with Allied's performance and take them out.
Allied's price drop maybe due to the largish holding Mineral Commodities has in the company. (MRC) have no money and may well have to liquidate more of it's holding in Allied to keep going let alone fund their projects. Both companies are run by the same guy. Perhaps that's not a good thing. It looks very incestuous
