simply put... we are manually (speeding up) doing exactly what happened the last but one time we crossed the galactic plane (when the dinosaurs went night night!!)... speeding up the evolutionary cycle of our planet!!.... think bigger picture - not in terms of decades, but in terms of millenia ... naturally the next time will be in 30 million years!.... but I am sure we can manage to screw up the planet a little faster!

Simples... the directors will "allot" the shares to themselves and then sell out the company!.... the extra shares will replace the loss in the SP to ensure they fill their own coffers... no confidence!

AND.... a further delay in first gas..... No confidence!!.... with no vision of the long term plan!... time to get out me thinks!

Hello!... my name is POLY PONPOLY and my lemonade stand sells nearly $3bln worth of goods each year..... would you like to earn $Mlns from auditting my business.... unfortunately, the Top4 auditor that used to look after me was under pressure due to reputational risk and even thought they didnt want to lose revenues, felt they had to!...

Nicola... thats that head and heart thing... I admit... I nearly quit my whole position when we hit 400p.... my average is 153.... I would have made a killing - heart driven!... head said no!.... I know there will be dips, but I realistically thought... back to 150-160? (regardless of a few, well many posters in here) I could not and dont see that happening.... stick with it!... that cost me a big profit with my holding... but my strategy was and is, lth for capital growth and great, well fantastic dividends for retirement (most of the POLY assets are 30-40 year LOM, by which time I will probably be in my box!).

any share with a x4 growth potential (with good foundations), in my eyes is a good prospect and IMO this is one of those!

Roxy... quite possibly, and IMO I believe they will cancel the dividend if no peace deal is announced before the AGM.

further to my post earlier and dont know if this link will be removed... 7 day poly chart, which imo, show the "chew toy" share that poly has become at the moment and purely on a day trade perspective and my conspiracy theory point.... buys on a friday... rise Monday... sell off through the week... rise on friday (today)... ready fro the same action next week.

IMO... the conspiracy theorist in me... there are tactics going on to hold the price down until peace is agreed and the sanctions ii's are currently bound by are removed... they can then re-buy their positions and make back what they lost when they were forced to sell.... for us small PI's, hopefully people understand that this poly at this price is a once in a lifetime opportunity to hold a position in a world class asset for pretty much peanuts!.... 40% of my portfolio is now POLY, POG (which is still a bit risky with the debt issues), and a couple of others. .. The retrace we keep seeing (imo) is to keep scaring small emotionally driven PI's to sell... more sells = lower sp ... and the ii's goal is achieved for now.

We all know how POLY is ran, the assets they have, the planning in place if they need to split the company (sure they dont want to, but why would you have an investment banker as your new CEO otherwise?)... as I say well ran company!....

my advice to any small PI.... and the first thing I was taught regarding trading... leave your emotions at the door... bet with your head not your heart.

oh well.. LTH for retirement dividends... although agree with some on the sentiments on LLOY... bigger dividend, rather than share buybacks would have been nice... someone commented... new share issues for a couple of hundred million here or there and we will be back over 70 billion!.... waste of time and avoids paying a bigger divi I suppose!

Looking this morning at the MOEX... POLY is trading at 935 rubels, which equates to 8.97GBP and 11.89US... II's / MM's keeping the price down till they can buy back in ??

FA... thanks for that post... I thought I was the only one!... my average SP is 150p and am planning a lth for dividends.... for me it's patience and not getting emotional over a drop.... all in my ISA... and it's great to look at the 117k profit I could take right now.... I just don't want to look back and regret selling... for me.... hold the line!!!!

First... I am in a LTH position, but not posting to de/ramping... just my opinion and welcome comments.

NCM are like a rabid hyena.... they will get what they want themselves or scare others away with force!!.... They have shareholders too and need to deliver the best value, in January their shares were down nearly 30% from a high of $38 in July 2019, now trading at $27. It's obvious that they want all of a world class asset like Havieron to suck it dry and milk the Oz. for themselves and so, will go the extra mile to reduce the cost they pay for it... they will undervalue the asset (not including the MRE) in their results as it weakens their position both in the 5% discussions and (IMO) the bargaining power when they look to take 100% of what is a beautiful deposit... and they know it!...

I believe in SD we have a wiley CEO that I hope will drive an incredibly hard bargain! and on the opposite side in SB, a tough and wiley businessman that is in a david v goliath position of arrogance... we all know the story I am sure, and I hope it pans out that way. My one concern as a shareholder, is that in the recent LSE video interview, SD didn't comment much about shareholder value, for a long term holder I want confidence that he has this at the forefront of his thinking and on that I am just not sure.

The RNS today about SW had to be posted... it's true... they found gold and hitting 4/7 cores is a good result, if not great analysis - I have seen cores (not from GGP) where 2 cores 10m apart produced 0.4g and 6.2g respectively... as the old saying goes "there's gold in them there hills"... gold is gold and lets see how it looks when they get 1-200 cores to review if they vioew it as justified.

I do get the depressed SP... the market in general wants to see traction and the DFS later in the year and a resolution to the final %'s that GGP will be left with.... a holding in an asset is better than cash IMO... especially in a world class asset like Hav.

Patience is a virtue.... just hope i have enough to see it through!.. thoughts appreciated!!
