Yep, have to maintain the long-term vision and patience though. Really could be an enormous buying opportunity over the coming months. EMAN producing nearly £20M in OCF against a very tough backdrop - incredible.

You mean in the entire parent company? Do you not think that isn't as relevant as Curzon Cinemas accounts?

The couple sells in relation to the Cineworld bankruptcy really does highlight a lack of understanding from the very small market that trades and owns Everyman.

On another note do remember that that is EBITDA, not net profit. EBITDA is the appropriate metric to use for valuations IMO as Everyman has such a large depreciation charge as it rolls out venues.

Blue Coast are highly unlikely to be interesting in acquiring Everyman. They have been involved since the early days (before IPO) and appear to be a 'sleepy' PE. They certainly aren't activists and you can see that by the way Everyman handles PR. Michael Rosehill is on the board as well remember and has been for a while.

The others do... Alex Scrimgeour has bought over £300,000 in the open market at higher prices. The board just isn't very effective with press releases. They really need someone with public experience but really aren't bothered to find or employ that individual.

my only thought was that the split has actually been very tight the last few days and I know people were buying at 111 yesterday - so I am uncertain. plus later on, on lighter volume, the MM's dropped the bid. I do note that a lot of trades are off-book, the liquidity in shares is very poor but MM's don't make much of an attempt to create a market.

Exactly Tom - as I thought. it just doesn't sit right but not much can be done. Record H1 numbers, continuation of H2 2021 excellent results, strong EBITDA. Laid it all out in my long article but the market gives no attention to EMAN.

Its a very good point Tom, what actually is the catalyst that creates the change in liquidity. Looking back at Everyman's share price history, the company has never really experienced prolonged periods of large volume. Even when it ran up from sub £1 to nearly £3 over a couple of years. I guess that is unlikely to change and any returns obtained will be slowly over a long period. The primary concern for us right now is we need to break £1.60.

Very much feels like no liquidity is holding back EMAN shares. It's really something the board needs to address, but something they ever will address. It's very clear through the consistent insider buying that they know EMAN is undervalued. However, even with great performance, that is unlikely to change for a while unless we start experiencing more volume.

McColl's won't 'fail' so to speak, there will just not be any value left here for shareholders. At this point, there really is no need for potential funding partners to provide anything to shareholders at all.

Lack of liquidity, that’s literally it. Everyman is just so inefficient as a share. Even looking at historical share movements it rarely moves a lot on one day.

Because there is an opportunity to really surprise the market here with these numbers. Scrimgeour wants a reprice, especially considering he bough 300k worth. I have also emailed the PR firm for EMAN and they said an update similar time to last year.

CFO still gonna serve 6 months. I think the CFO was forced out most likely.
