Trading update Monday will be huge. This is going to see more then just a recovery imo. Everyman is in a unique position to really excel now.

I know it’s unusual but can anyone have a guess as to why the CEO and other board members aren’t buying down here?

I know it’s genuinely a rarity in the markets but the risk/reward here looks unusually strong.

I have a quick question, Isn't Petra's debt clearance largely reliant on big finds? Looking at the last trading update, without the $40-50 million plus earned from the special stones, net consolidated debt would've barely declined? Maybe I am wrong here but I was wodnering if anyone had thought about this?

Eatstocks, what do you mean? I am well aware of the restructuring, but are you actually seeing the same level 2 as I am? Consistently MMs since the trading update have looked to hold this back, a lot of this is down to the lower volatility that the UK market brings in comparison the likes of the US. After volume subsided following last trading update, MM's slowly dragged the price down on small sell orders.

Aha, MMs manage to tick it down again on measly 26k sell - all the way down to 1.71. This ia a bizarre share, really makes you despise UK markets.

Level 2 market action on PDL remains bizarre. plenty of buys flooding, through and then some minimal sells and the MMS tick the bid down, makes little sense.

The amount of sells flooding through level 2 right now is quite astunding. Buys have started to dry up.

Astounding share price action. Petra is now just 6% up after those results... just bizarre. The market is inefficient but this is just strange considering the results and the fact Petra now has a path to eliminate all debt. The fact the split was so large into close for a relatively minor amount of shares compared to mcap is also bizarre. UK market disappoints.

So just to check, this debt paydown doesn't include any paydown that would come as a result of the latest huge diamond sale as this was found and sold after year end?

There is pretty much a 0% chance of there being any recovery from the arbitration. SML has found itself in a very long queue of creditors, whilst I am sure the BOD had hoped the big headline figure would provide some intiial uplift in the market, investors clearly so through it and now there has been no talk really of its since.

The biggest problem is most of the bullish cash is reliant on the BOD actually delivering, something they have completely failed to do time after time after time. it is genuinely impossible to take anything they say on face value. John said PEPR in Q2, now going to be July - but why should anyone trust this, he has been wrong the last 3 times. Looking back at previous RNS's you will find very similar wording consistently used - 'imminently' , 'confident' etc but the company always seems to fall short.

3 MM's offering bid at 0.45, one at 0.4 and one at 0.5. All 5 MM's offering ask at 0.6 but of course SML doesn't trade on these figures and has a far tighter split than displayed. I am seeing bid at 0.53 and ask at 0.55.

While I do agree Fira, I do also believe this provides an opportunity to pick up SML at prices near what they paid for the assets (and amount of capital invested into them) - which is a real rarity on AIM, SML's day will come IMO.

Will SML ever get moving? Patience is key to investing but boy does SML test your patience. If the board delivers the goods, the breakout will be large.

Futures it is sadly become pointless measuring SML relative to old prices, due to the previous dilution experienced over the past couple years. I am unsure what the exact market cap was when SML traded at 3.65p but I am sure it wouldn't be the market cap if we were t trade at 3.65 p these days. I feel like previous dilution, even though small has weighed down on shares and the tight cash balance doesn't help.

hope everyone is doing well here, I have jumped back into SML now after a long spell out and believe that JP might actually deliver something material soon - feels hard not to with copper at these prices!

4 MM's have just dropped off my level 2, anyone know why this may be?

Today's rise isn't surprising to me at all, I believe the market has clearly used the news as an excuse for a rerate, particularly with the hint of a strong trading update. Few people on BB's saying this is overbought rn but I don't see it, company is about to post record year with redleg just starting to get the ball rolling. The share is very illiquid and can move fast in both directions.

Split tightened way more now with increased volume, appears to be nearing breakout soon. Still feel Everyman has multi-bagger potential in the post-Covid world.
