3️⃣ 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 (ASX: KRR) hit 20 metres @ 38.5 g/t gold from 92m in diamond drilling at the Lone Star prospect. This is one of the most spectacular intercepts ever recorded in the Tennant Creek district. King River's Kurundi drilling has also delivered 7m @ 5.8 g/t gold including 3m @ 11.9 g/t from just 32m. But the line that stuck with me was this:

Seven months of quiet, methodical de-risking. No hype. No premature drill tests. Just geophysics, targeting, approvals, validation, and now, a CEO flying to site to welcome the rig.

There’s an old adage in junior exploration: 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐢𝐭.

This morning, after listening to the StockBox interview for the second time, I’d argue the market has yet to wake up to the second part.

What do I mean?

Forget the A$100,000 NT Government grant for a moment, although non-dilutive funding is never to be sniffed at.

The real kicker is in the operational tempo. Pottas confirmed that 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝, 𝐈 𝐪𝐮𝐨𝐭𝐞 “𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤.”

“So what?”, I hear you bark.

Well, this drill programme is different.

Previous exploration in the area “wasn’t designed to test for gold,” Pottas admits.

Those old sniffles in the data? Surface stuff. The real prospective geology at Lander West is deeper → “around 50 metres below the surface.”

𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬, 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭. 𝐈𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐭.

What FDR has done over seven months is methodical: desktop study, multiple phases of geophysics, target definition, approvals, contractor locked in.

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐚 𝐩𝐮𝐧𝐭.

It’s a systematic test of a gold target that has just received independent validation from Australia’s 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐆𝐞𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐲 (𝐍𝐓𝐆𝐒). And that’s the part the market is materially undervaluing.

Think about what that means.

The people who know the rocks better than anyone have independently assessed the 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭 and chosen to back it with hard cash.

Not a letter of support. Not a kind word. But a grant that required them to put their technical reputation behind the prospectivity.

𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐞.

And the story isn’t just gold.

We are literally weeks away from the maiden drill program at Lander West.

All regulatory approvals are secured.

This is happening.

More importantly, the NT Government doesn’t hand out 𝐀𝐔$𝟏𝟎𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 for fun.

Round 19 is competitive. The Minister for Mining and Energy personally announced this.

FDR was selected because the technical quality and prospectivity of Lander West stood out. That’s independent, non-dilutive validation from one of Australia’s most respected institutions.

Read that again → 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐓𝐆𝐒 𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠.

Remember, most of the prospective geology at Lander West has never been tested below 50m. Previous drilling chased other commodities. The Stafford Gold Trend runs right through it. FDR has systematically integrated modern geophysics with historical data, and they’ve defined multiple concealed gold targets.

Thus, for a UK-listed, Australia-focused explorer with a fully-funded, drill-ready gold target, government-backed, in a Tier-1 jurisdiction (NT), about to spin the bit in 15 working days, the market cap is nonsensical.

The risk-reward here is incredible.

And today's 6% dip on barely any volume doesn't trouble me in the slightest. That's exactly the kind of noise you expect in a £4m market cap stock where a known seller has been cleaning out the last crumbs of a position. The overhang is now effectively gone; the register is tightening.

The real story is the drill bit.

FDR is fully-funded, the targets are high-conviction, the contractor is already working next door, and the geological model points to a system that could comfortably run to 1.5–3 million ounces.

At 3.05p, you're paying a little over £4m for a free hit at a district-scale gold discovery in a Tier-1 jurisdiction. That's not a valuation, that's an option premium.

Quiet boards are where serious money is made.

By the time there are 100 posts a day and a 300% move is already in the price, the easy gains will be long gone. We're in the calm before the catalysts. Enjoy it. It won't last.

If Itech hits a meaningful sulphide zone, the spotlight on the entire trend, and on FDR’s fully funded Phase I programme, will intensify overnight.

Two junior explorers drilling simultaneously on adjacent tenements, chasing a district-scale gold system that has never been systematically explored at depth: it’s the kind of scenario that gets pulses racing among resource investors and can create a rising tide that lifts both boats.

The protracted seller that has lingered over the stock for weeks is now down to its last few million shares and may well have walked away for good → leaving a clean register and a fully-funded drill programme ahead.

The company is fully funded, so there is no imminent dilution. The neighbours are drilling concurrently, which means a steady flow of news and a growing wave of district recognition.

And the geological model points towards a prize that could be measured in millions of ounces.

I’m standing on the red dirt of the Lander West gold target, 250km northwest of Alice Springs, and the silence is about to be shattered.

𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 (AIM: FDR) has just completed its final pre-mobilisation reconnaissance.

Drill-holes are refined, the earthworks contractor is locked in, and the rig from GeoDrill Australia is already working next door on Itech Minerals’ ground.

For the first time, this quiet corner of the Northern Territory’s Stafford Gold Trend is about to be properly tested, and at a market capitalisation of just £4M; 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭.

Let’s put that £4M into perspective.

With 139.2 million shares in issue, and a share price of 2.85p, FDR is obscenely undervalued. Yet the company is fully-funded for a maiden reverse-circulation drilling programme that will test a target with the geological hallmarks of a multi-million-ounce gold system.

If even the first-pass drilling delivers a discovery, that £4M valuation could be a footnote in a much bigger story.

Meanwhile, astute investors will have noticed the steady drip of stock being fed onto the tape in recent weeks.

𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐲 has been acting for Armstrong Investments, a shareholder that accumulated a meaningful position between November 2025 and March 2026. That holding topped out at 6.25%, but since March, the position has been gradually unwound. Today, it sits at just 3% (~4.2 million shares).

The beauty of the 3% threshold is that it represents the floor for the UK’s major shareholding notification regime. Once a stake dips below that line, no further TR1 disclosures are required.

More importantly though, the evidence suggests the heavy lifting is already done. The stock has been absorbing this supply without falling over; in fact, the shares have been gently rising into the news flow.

The remaining rump is small enough to be cleared in a couple of trading days, and with the overhang now largely behind us, the path is clear for the drilling catalysts to do their work.

But back to the investment case here. FDR isn’t chasing a few grams per tonne of oxide gold. The team is hunting a large, structurally controlled, intrusive-related gold system; the kind of deposit that can underpin a standalone mining operation.

Next, toss in the existing, growing core business and you’re staring at a fair enterprise value of £55 million–£85 million. On a corrected share count, that spits out a risk-adjusted fair value significantly north of the current share price of 2.55p per share.

The Bottom Line:

The market is valuing Aterian at £5.13 million – less than the standalone value of its trading JV alone under any reasonable multiple.

The Wogen JV has been active for one month. That single month’s gross profit already exceeded the entire previous quarterly run rate.

Annualised, the JV is on track for nearly £800,000 net profit in 2026. The company’s 2027 target of £1 million net profit looks not just achievable, but potentially conservative.

The assets are real. The billion-dollar partner is a Top-Five global. And the valuation gap is extraordinary.

FWIW, I’ve gone back and crunched the numbers relating to Aterian’s Q1 2026 trading update.

Gross profit from Rwandan operations reached approximately £237,000 (US$306,000) — more than double the £112,000 (US$145,000) delivered in Q4 2025.

More importantly, the Wogen JV went operational on 02 March 2026. That means the Q1 figure includes just ONE MONTH of JV-enhanced trading. January and February still ran on the older, less efficient model.

Strip out those two months, and the math becomes interesting:

January–February (old model): ~£112,000 gross profit total (based on Q4 run rate)

March (first month of Wogen JV): ~£125,000 gross profit – more than double the previous monthly rate of £56,000

In its very first month, the JV is already firing at an annualised gross profit run rate of £1.5 million!

We then apply a conservative 12x price-to-earnings multiple to the trading JV’s net profit. Below are three valuation scenarios – each grounded solely in official RNS’ and third party commitments. No speculation. Just fact.

The Starting Truth:

Aterian has 17,684,000 ordinary shares in issue. At 29p per share, the entire company – all exploration assets, trading operations, and partnerships – is valued by the market at a mere £5.13 million.

Let’s test that against reality.

Projected 2026 Trading Performance (JV active March–December = 10 months):

a) 10 months at March run rate: £1.25 million gross profit

b) Add January–February: £0.11 million

c) Total 2026 estimated gross profit: £1.36M

The trading business carries minimal operating expenses (traceability, logistics, limited overheads). Applying a conservative 60% net margin (the JV improves working capital and reduces funding costs) gives 2026 estimated net profit of ~£820,000.

Projected 2027 Trading Performance:

The company has explicitly targeted £1 million net profit from trading in 2027. With a full year of JV operation, and a move to a larger processing facility, I see £1.0–1.2 million as readily achievable. The Base Case uses the company’s own £1.0 million target.

Conservative Sum of the Parts (SOTP) Valuation:

a) Exploration Licences (Lithosquare) → Strategic partner spending €1.4M for 20% → 100% worth €7M. In pound sterling, £6.1M

b) HCK Project (Rio Tinto validation) → Mining giant spent US$5M proving it up. Sunk cost has real value. In pound sterling, £2.0M

c) Moroccan Copper Silver Project (Agdas) → Environmental approval secured, materially de risked. Conservative placeholder of £1.0M

d) Tantalum Trading JV with Wogen → Targeting £1M net profit in 2027. At 12x P/E (justified by Wogen’s pedigree) we get £12.0M

e) Remaining Exploration Portfolio → Rwanda, Botswana, Morocco acreage. Nominal but reasonable value of £5.0M

TOTAL SOTP VALUE → £26.1M (148p/share)

That’s 5x upside to reach the conservative sum of the parts valuation.

Tedc, Break100, Crumbs et al, I agree; an absolutely stunning interview!

But more importantly, and following today’s explosive interview (45mins in…), investors are left with a single, clear conclusion: the market has fundamentally mispriced this company, and those closest to the assets have had enough.

Chiefly, every major shareholder in the company, and the entire BoD, has sold not a single share!

That level of insider retention, in a sub‑£5M market cap company, is rare. What is rarer still is the chairman publicly stating that a MANAGEMENT BUYOUT IS NO LONGER A THEORETICAL CONCEPT.

Bray made clear that, if the market persists in valuing the company at current levels, there is no reason an MBO would be out of question. That statement, alone, should command every investor's attention.

When the people who know the assets best are actively discussing taking the company private because the market has, in effect, ‘lost it’, then it pays to sit up and pay attention.

And better still, we now have an incoming catalyst in the form of a trading update on Tuesday (07/04/2026) – confirmed by the Chairman himself. The aggressive re-rate implications of a bullish update cannot be understated with a super tight free float.

BOTTOM LINE:

Whether management ultimately executes a buyout or the market re‑rates first, the asymmetry is now impossible to ignore.

For those unaware, 23hrs ago, Aterian’s Executive Chairman, Charles Bray, did something that every serious investor should recognise as a clear and deliberate signal. He posted the following:

The X post, as most of you are aware, concluded that Aterian is worth 136p per share (Fair Value); a 6x upside from the previous price of 23p.

Thus, when an Executive Chairman amplifies a third-party valuation that is nearly six times higher than the share price, he is endorsing the numbers and telling the market that his company is dramatically undervalued.

Make no mistake, this is as close to a formal undervaluation statement as you get without a regulatory announcement.

But more importantly, Bray would not have reposted this if he did not believe it. He has a fiduciary duty to shareholders, and by putting his name behind these numbers, he is effectively telling the market that 136p is a reasonable fair value and that the current 27.50p share price is absurd.
