Quite agree the share price is so undervalued.Unfortunately at the trading update they were not as optimistic as they should have been looking at the figures,maybe the management are just awaiting a takeover bid to get paid out,just like some other companies.

Cannot understand the reason for the decline in share price today.The closure of the French stores which are a franchise will hardly change any profit metrics of the company.This share so undervalued as I have been saying for months and so far I have been proved right,but there is a long way to go

This share has only one way to go as you can see it is gathering momentum as each week passes just as I have been saying for months.It has so much going for it and I am sure that by the time the interims come it will be well over the £2 level.In the next week or so Ocado will release its results which will add to the stimulus.As business gets better Marks will most probably not need all of its provisions that it was planning it has made and so the headline profits will look even better and maybe they will give an indication as to when they will start paying dividends again.I think they will get a further boost as a number of other retailers will post figures this month and with fewer around they in the main should all have good results

The reason that I said that I expected the share price to go up by up to a pound in the next few weeks is based that this company is in recovery mode and they have got all the bad news out of the way and to succeed they have to show some positive results.The first of these will come with the trading statement next week.However even if it is not good the share price will in my opinion go up by quite a lot as I think someone out there will snap them up as they are so cheap.This is only my opinion .

Not really a good article.It does not mention that in clothing Marks is still number one ,only mentions number 2 in online.This company most probably is one of the most undervalued retailers on the market and will most probably bsubject to a takeover bid sooner or later.The management really has not done a good PR job over the last few years giving the impression that they are declining and just closing shops.This is a fantastic company

This share is so cheap and think that during the next week it will rise further up to when the results are posted and then it will shoot up even more.I would expect it over the next fortnight to go up by at least a £1 hence I topped my holding up today as this is a no brainer

Now over £1.80,£2 to come and then £3 .This share is starting as I thought to build momentum

Their stores are very busy and with a trading statement due shortly this share will zoom ahead

With a trading statement due in September this share will bounce to over £2 per share if not more as there is so much growth potential,but might get snapped up before it gets there under its own steam

Has been moving up strongly over the last couple of days but only up to around where it was in May.The value of this company to a private equity company must be at least double its current price and I am sure it will be snapped up shortly.Last week the management were forced to give trading figures which were good but I am sure they are holding something back for later which will show how undervalued the company is.Happy days ahead

pyueck.You are wrong.By closing Argos stores they were able to bring the business into the Sainsburys stores.I was saying that they did not do a particularly good job in doing this ,however by doing what the have they have reduced the cost base of the business thus being able to increase profits,however as a born and bred retailer I would have done a better job but not to late to make the changes.Argos was never going to go bust and I have followed the company since the week they fist opened.When Sainsvbury bought them the then chairman was the same man who was FD of Gus who bought them in the nineties.He knew what a bargain he was getting

Topped up my holding this morning as this is one share to watch as is undervalued.There shops are very busy and people like my wife seem to buy from their website more often.There is much for them to improve their LFL but see their shares doubling within the next year

I was surprised this morning that the share price only went up a couple of pence.When you see how much Sainsburys went up and although it too is undervalued Marks at this price is a true bargain,but it will shortly be in the frame.I am sure that is why they published figures last week to shore up their defences.They were conservative and the next set will I am sure be even more bullish

£3.6 would be too cheap.They have got a lot going for this company.They got a bargain when they bought Argos. When it was bought by GUS in the nineties they paid nearly £2 billion for that alone. It was a master buy for Sainsburys buying it for so little,unfortunately they have not done a great deal with the brand and it should be doing so much better.They really made a mess of how they intergrated into their stores and if done correctly it would do very well indeed.

Cannot understand why the share price has not yet shot up to £25 as everything in the company seems to be going well and its products are flying off the shelves

I am nearly sure that this share will add to the gains of last week and move towards £2.As mentioned before it is worth most probably nearly double that and it would not surprise me that we will hear soon of an approach for the company as currently it is a sitting duck.

It was a bolt out of the blue today the update.Long overdue for no real reason.It was quite conservative as I am sure the results will even be better.Maybe they had a sniff that someone is running their eye over them fo a possible takeover as at the moment they are sitting ducks.For months I have been saying how undervalued they are

This share in the short term should soar to at least double its current price,specifically if you look at its market value compared to Next and the prospects over the next couple of years to get to nearly the same profit level.Currently it is expecting this year to get to over half Next profits so its Market value should be at least half

It would not surprise me if it gets back to its flotation price in the next few days

Hopefully today is the start of a bull market in this share as it is so undervalued.Shame they did not post figures for the first quarter but we have been led to believe that in November they will be good and better than expected.Remember they still have the biggest share of the clothing market and their food is good.It would not surprise me if they become a takeover target as they are so cheap
