as for the same reasons as you guys, i was chuffed that i was able to sell my shares at 26p today, i really was expecting an open <22p with a fast drop to teens. Just seconds later jump to a 28p sell and has held for the morning :*D - Buying/selling on the 8am open... ill never learn.
anyhow pretty disappointed as before this news i had high hopes of Lookers SP slowly recovering over the months ahead.
Sorry if i missed it, just wondering when we should receive an RNS regarding the placing and whether us PIs will have the opportunity to take up on the offer also? or has this it not been announced when they endeavour to inform share holders?
Yea looking forward to finding this out, be very happy to add to my holdings...
Raleigh, what do you feel are the chances that SIG will give us the opportunity to partake in this offering instead of exclusively to institutions?
My plan is if/when the price reaches my 100% (45p) i will sell 25% of my shares with the view to jump back in IF the price goes back to 40. Plan is to keep doing this on the way up in progressively higher stages to (all being well) increase the # of shares by trading in this manor with each of my stocks i own.
If i sell at a price that is never seen again, so be it, that 25% will be banked as profit albeit a slight feeling of disappointment due to sods law. in the past every time i buy a stock, it has always dropped below my buy price befoing going back up in the weeks following.
This is the fun and games of stocks and shares i guess - we just never know what is around the corner, and only rarely do shares ever go up in a straight line without taking a dip before the next big leg up.
Dave, who are the 2 brokers with 80 and 100p targets plz?
Totally get both your decisions to sell and to be fair not sure where you bought in at however, these results at THIS depressed share price surly is undervalued?
All being well and no second wave, surly a 50% increase in today's share price by December is not too optimistic?
looked at the fundamentals, all look pretty good risk vs reward and bought a small holding with the view to top up if it drops.
to many times have i experienced the buy on rumour sell on news.
Hopefully tomorrow will be some good news and numbers to give this stock the boost it needs.
@WHITEGHOST - No mate, sorry if my initial message came across as if it is affecting my life, no far from it. Like i said before, relatively speaking, the money i have put in is far from significant enough to drag my emotions into the daily movements of the SP.
Happy to wait it out and i do believe once the headline main news headlines go back to vegans gluing themselves to trains this and most other stocks should be in a much more positive position.
My main reason in my question was to ask, if really this price can rise back to post RI trading range in a matter of weeks without any news as so many on this board are essentially making out
Yea i mean all the stocks i have purchased are with a long term view in mind, it was money i have essentially put aside that i dont need and can afford to lose so am fine with waiting it out.
The kick in the nuts for most of us holders here was the fact they did not rule out exploring other avenues of funding in the RNS this week - surly if they were to propose another RI this will be dire for the share price and recovery.
sorry to come across as if i am de-ramping, i am surly not and would love to see the SP rocket back to our averages but hey, im a pessimist, what can i say...
Been a depressing few weeks for those like myself who have bought in since (and before) the price was trading in the 50 to 60 range since mid April.
Dont get me wrong i love the enthusiasm of some of the posters here on this board, others irritate me with their pointless ramping with zero evidence to back it up with.
Really as frustrating as it is, i cant see this SP bumping back to the post RI share price trading range in the coming weeks or even months unless AML management release some good news to bump confidence in the market or if the government tell us that the "science" has reported that the number of cases of COVID are now low enough for "business as usual".
Would love for experienced share holders here to tell me im wrong or that there is something im forgetting to understand?
With all the 30p buyers cant help but to thing we will be trading at this level now for some time...
I agree, and im long here however the news due on Wednesday if there is no whiff of good news or something included to give peace of mind to investors i fear the SP could well dip into the 30s in the sort term.
Im in at average of 52p which in comparison to many holders is not all that bad, its just sad to see a continuous downward pressure on the share price and who knows maybe we will see that 30p (or close to)...
