Guards56, thanks for the reply, at least someone else thinks there's a future even if it is long term. have been in and out of this for well over a year so another year or two I can take, would like to see a small profit over inflation if possible. this company will make good money eventually but will it let us stay in?

well now that our shares are about to be heavily diluted do you other shareholders see light at the end of the tunnel. my average sp is approx 4.6p but i imagine that within a few months if MNG have their way and the mining costs are substantially reduced (long term) then i Guess the sp will return to a much improved figure. is it too much to expect it to rise above 5 maybe even 6p. anyone else thinking this is a likely possibility? then the chance to purchase more stock at 1.5p would seem to be a future bonus! any comments on this?

been offline for a couple of days down in cornwall, appalling vodafone service in Launceston. just a response to your post, why would you think they would want to pump up their stock? they don't appear to want to succeed and they don,t want the company stock to improve in value straight away, must be a Turkish idea for tax saving? anyway its working, value of company dropping daily whilst gold generally improving. guess they will eventually have to give us some news, good or bad and bugger the sp!

i think that they have been in charge for just two months, they have had to get to grips with the chaos left behind and restart operations. It is far to early to expect miracles however i do feel that as shareholders (essentially part owners) we should have been kept in the loop. everyone is worrying unnecessarily, keep the faith and hope for more news, good news! the SP will improve, just give it time.

am i right in assuming that the figures given today are thoroughly distorted by the plant shutdown and machinery repairs/upgrades? so the true price of mining gold on this site is in fact very much lower than the distorted figures given? have the management done this deliberately to drive the price and value of shares down? lots of questions here!

at first sight things are not looking clever today however we should all remind ourselves that MNG have only just shelled out 30 million and they did NOT do that to lose money. They did it to make money, a lot of money! and while they do that they will also make money for those of us who stick it out. Hang on in there no matter what, it will come good in the end wont it?

Well I don't know about the rest of you but one thing I am sure of is the price is ridiculously low. it can only be other shareholders losing faith although the lack of realistic news does not help this is goldmine, it has proven assets and just had an injection of 30 million. The new majority shareholders have not decided to throw their money away but they are also not apparently going to keep the other shareholders informed i.e. is this mine now up and running, has it recently produced gold, do the Liberian people benefit from it or just those in charge and are they receiving personal remuneration? Meanwhile if you hang on in there and even buy more these shares will eventually make a fantastic return.

that great for the sellers as they are getting a much better price than usual, what is going on? who is responsible for this shambles? spoke to HL last night and they said the london stock exchange is responsible for the rubbish being put out and I would like to know who is benefitting from the changes between buying and selling prices, are the shareholders paying for it?

HLreporting sell @4.835 and buy @4.97, seems a lot closer than it used to and also makes the so called sales way off!

just had another look at sp on HL and its dropping slightly however the trades showing are all (ALL) showing as sales. someone is getting it all wrong, a few mistakes are acceptable but this many?

The turks have just put 30mil into it and i cant believe them to be that stupid! it is a sound investment for them, there is gold in the ground, they will get it out and might even let us have some of it, whatever the price is so low now it can only get better can't it? I mean the sp is really really low for this mine! its your money but I would wait.

i suppose you could be right although all last prices for transactions were from 4.8875 to 5.00 and those prices tend towards buying (see H.L.) also the sp was +2.13 until the very end and then suddenly -2.56. i suppose it will sort itself out tomorrow
