Daveri007, the European car manufacturers are all ready working with the Chinese, The MG EV and the Polestar are Chinese manufactured.
And have a look at this link https://ec.europa.eu/trade/policy/countries-and-regions/countries/china/index_en.htm
China is the EU's biggest source of imports and its second-biggest export market. China and Europe trade on average over €1 billion a day
EU’s main imports from China are industrial and consumer goods, machinery and equipment, and footwear and clothing
EU main exports to China are: machinery and equipment, motor vehicles, aircraft, and chemicals
EU-China trade in services amounts to more than 10% of total trade in goods, and the EU's exports of services make up 19% of EU's total exports of goods
Jonesy,
Chrysler, Fords, GM, Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, Honda, Volkswagen and Audi all have plants in Mexico, the Ford Mustang is known as the Mexican Mustang as it's made there. In April GM announced a new $1 billion new plant for EVs. https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/general-motors-make-1-bln-electric-auto-investment-mexico-2021-04-29/
Personally I think the BCN BoD have a lot of questions to answer to the shareholders. I don't think Mexico is undesirable location, nor do Ganfeng as they are considering building a processing plant there fed from Sonora. Again my opinion, but Sonora is just as an attractive location as Cinovec for the same reasons.
I ask these question as I value the knowledge and foresight of some of the posters on this BB, not for any other nefarious reason.
If GF gain sufficient control of BCN BOD can they do a merger/buyout and simply absorb BCN?
Hi Guys, I've just come across this, and no it's not ramping another company, it's purely for information that I see as good for EMH and a Giga factory in CR, for any that it's old news, sorry.
In short Euro Manganese are building a plant in the CR.

If Tesla can sign an off-take agreement they will, VW's debt to asset ratio is 74.44%, the company debt is 370 billion euros. I suspect VW will have to arrange finance (which will happen) for the Giga factories , where as Tesla has money to spend and looking to spend it. Ford's debt is 88.52%/$236.5 billion so they are in the same boat as VW.
Did I hear somewhere that VW were going to go public with the battery factories?
As for EMH I'm just sitting on my hands and patiently waiting for the news to come and ride the ups and down.
