I see that CZ Capital have a short of 0.9% listed which has reduced since January and previous shorters of note have reduced below the reporting threshold or possibly closed out completely. It will be interesting to see if another has appeared or CZ have increased their position again. I will check on the FCA site later. The spreadsheet gets updated at about 5pm
So the Turkish business they off loaded for free accounted for 25% of revenue in 2016. I would like to know what ongoing effect that will have on their financials. I have been looking to buy again but seeing that news has made me stop and think.
No not comparing them to Quindell just very wary of hanging on watching profits slip away. 10% down and still moving so I decided to cut and run.
Shorts are building, I am still sore from Quindell so I have taken my profit and run. Good luck to you.
No news and we are down 2.3% I would buy on this drop but I am 100% invested at the moment.
CEO's comments in the half year report say they will be resumed in 2017
That's 19.6% of the entire issued shares!
A huge trade has just appeared 14.8 million shares at £107 million
Has anyone got any clue why the SP has dropped today?
I'm holding more of these than I should but the ROI far outstrips anything else in my portfolio. I bought some more on the dip today. Onwards and upwards.
I decided this is now to big a risk. The SP is only being propped up by the dividend. Shell are having to sell the silverware to keep the dividend going, this can't last forever, as soon as there is any whiff the dividend is at risk the SP will drop like a stone.
Does anyone now what % of turnover/profit for GVC comes from Greece?
To quote the rule: an applicant may not be eligible if its business has undergone a significant change in its scale or operations during the period of the historical financial information, being the last three years' audited accounts.
It is the growth of the company that could be the blocker, not the SP.
After what happened with QPP how will Okay get listed on FTSE 250. The same rule that blocked QPP from entry to the Main Index will also block the combined company of Opay and Skrill. If Skrill was already on the main index things would be different but as they are a private company I can't see entry to the Main Index happening for 3 years.
I'm in EPO too. What a future they have. Contracts with really big names and niche specialist market and they are thinking global. Fantastic prospects and in my opinion a very good chance of a takeover once they have expanded their market. The big financial players can't compete in their market. So many people work abroad and send money home which can cost up to £60 per transaction, EPO can do it at a fraction of the cost.
ADVFN did not show the RNS this morning. Just an article about the dividend By the time I read the RNS on LSE it was already down over 13% . Ouch!
The fact they are not shifting any debt to the demerged business stinks. This means existing investors get saddled with all the debt. I have sold my holding after a 9% loss.
Look at the charts, steady year on year growth. Economy is still recovering, it's World Cup year so I don't see this upwards momentum stopping anytime soon. This is one I will be adding to in June.
After this years influx of new ISA money many shares dipped in mid to late April. GVC is obe of those where there was a slight increase and then held. We are now see growth again. I do not see a retrace happening any tine soon. I bought in at 402. Happy days.
