just to clarify i wasnt saying planning was to blame for RTB houses not being built. ... just the system is often weird and not helpful not an obvious solution as poeple would like it to be.

it was totaly wrong to take RTB money and not build new houses.... but few people really know how restricted and rigged the planning system can be.... its against all of use

yes correct to talk about the geo politics going on here... thankfully the US have woken up and stopped giving China such an easy hand... obviously its going to be used against them in future... been giving away far too much

i have rented / been a LL, when LL made the place the best i can for the tenant. no one can take that away from me

one look at how the sinster EPC system is being used against LL in that in future they will need a C rating (the dim on on here cant be bothered to look that up) and in future will need a B... what does that mean? less LL, less property for rent... higher prices - added to that gov wants to put the market into the private sector and cream off in the usual ways they do

so all round its going to be worse
