Does anyone no if this has been rescheduled for a different date by any chance, if so when?
I don't suppose anyone knows the break even value for hur's oil.
How much is it costing them to produce per barrel??
Although the rig is demobilising everyone seems to be forgetting that huricane have already signed a deal for the transocean Paul b loyd to begin a 225 day drilling campaign from February. This is the end of this campaign but just the beginning for the field, you don't pay for a rig for 2/3 of a year when your not sure that there's a much bigger play to be exploited, and with all the data that has been gathered the geo boys will be beavering away to pick the best sweet spots, test strings and completion models will be will all be getting worked up as we speak
Both LC and WW whit the same, density oil, I wonder if this does mean the plays are linked? If so would be an indication of a good sized field, would also give a little more explanation if they were back at the LC well to review pressures but all speculations. It's worth everyone noting that this flow rate was natural and not with esp in play, if the well was give more time and was able to clean up this would increase bpod and this could further be increased with the inclusion of an esp in the completion. Furthermore it this is all one big field they no have a lot of good data points for picking where the next three drills are, this well could just be at the boundary of the field where there is a drop off in pressure. Hopefully soon we get updated from hur with the plans for the next drills and what they think is happening with the subsurface structure of the formation
I'd imagine as someone has previously mentioned this will be a fly by to drop an ROV down and have a fly through, most likely as previously mentioned to check gauges, if they have found the same type of oil as found on LC they maybe looking for and pressure changes since completing well testing, just guessing tho so talk with a pinch of salt.
If the rig is moving again in a short space of time I'd assume this to be the case but if it hangs around for a while there maybe something else happening..... Hopefully it's a good sign tho, if the results were not positive I can't imagine they would be faffing about with other ops, there must be sometime worthwhile checking
Fingers crossed
Looking at the pictures highlighted by DiveCentre shows driven piles without a questions,
I'm fully aware not everyone is in the industry hence the link to the video showing a typical subsea piling spread so people can have a nosey if they are interested.
I haven't read the environmental report so don't have that info to hand but as I said the picture shows all that's needed to know what has been done, pile are just pig iron pegs albeit expensive ones, the spread of equipment for installing them is more interesting than the piles themselves...
I was bored watching the football today hence why I thought I'd take the time to write the response, but as I say lots of people are quick to state facts that are opinions.... For stuff like moorings this isn't a big deal but for other things where this may sway someones decision to buy or sell its pretty irresponsible.
Anyway mooring discussion aside I wonder what the next conversation will be, I am liking that the amount of chat and interest in the share has increased in the past few weeks tho long may it continue

This is a pretty good overview of a subsea piling for those that are interested.
This is the exact piling spread that was used on kraken for enquest
Because pike take a fair bit of effort to get out, there are typically for more permanent installations, where as a rig moves from site to site quite often, anchors are easily recovered by comparison
On my mobile so it's just a reel of pictures, I assume the picture you talking about is the steel pile that is being lowered through the splash zone.
That's a steel pile to be hammered not a suction anchor
This argument over suction anchors and piles is all semantics, it doesn't really make a difference to anything but I'm bored so hey I'll chip in and say I believe that your all wrong...
I don't recall reading any information regarding suction piles/ anchors being mentioned, I think this is a case of all the so called experts on the board taking a guess at what's there and passing this on as fact, more than happy to be proven wrong (as I say just no memory of this ever being mention, and don't see why they would need to use them)
Its far more likely they used hammered piles, these are pretty standard for fpso's
This is nothing to do with environment choices it's purely a cost driven exercise, your in essentially just hammering steel pegs. This is pretty standard and environmental types tend not to like them because the noise from hammering hurts the little fishes ears.....
Nothing like stirring the hornets nest but yer all talking ****e! Haha.....
Once again happy to be proven wrong.....
Was anyone there, if so could they summerise the talk, lots of speculation looking from someone with chat from the horses mouth so to speak to lay down what was discussed?
They are only looking to offer a small percentage of they company, 1 to 3%.
The valise your looking at would be what the company is worth based on the price of the small percentage of shares sold, sounds like the majority of these will be sold to saudi billionaires and other oligarchs.
When final numbers are released by aramco for reserves this may affect the poo, but reisticly not sure how much the sale of a couple percent of the business will
Hi Jiffy,
I was speculating if the rig that will be on hire next year will be for drilling more producers or if it will be part of an exploration campaign, possibly a bit of both, who knows we will have to wait for some type of update from hur...
Was just joking about with the share price comment, this share hasn't been a good performer in the face of good news, I say a drilling campaign that last 2/3rds of the year is amazing news, has the possibility to transform the company, there cold be drilling 4, 5, 6 wells who's knows....
Producers or exploration I wonder??
Knowing hur the share will probably plumbet on this next week, hmmm

MCB55,
What is a typical P/E for a established mid cap producer?
Is 15 or 25 realistic, these seem high so though I'd ask the question?
Thanks
Idly.
Engineering work has already started and pipeline routes confirmed along with trenching and pipelay assessment, this is Feed work but has begun now non the less.
Don't have all the details just snippets
Conversation have also been had with pmo months ago regarding tieback to the assets, hur have been planning for potential outcomes for months, their not sitting in the office ideally waiting for results
GWA plans are already being looked at by hur, technip are looking at pipeline routes as we speak for tying back to existing infrastructure in the area, or so I'm lead to belive!
I'm pretty sure is solan or another pmo asset they are trying to utilise
In the next month or two I'd expect to see an rns saying that technip have been awarded a contract to install a tieback to solan, utilising pmo storage unit on solan as its under utilised by the solan asset

I remember the days when an announcement of a well spud would see shares up 10% 20% even 30%, we are down 1.5% oh how the times have changed, insert sad face!
