Good point newkotb. That’s the point, there’s many things that have gone on before they announced the offer publicly. It’s almost certain that ophr has / will be sold. Just a case of what price I guess !!

Why on earth would you add a 18montg extension to the debt facility when it’s not due until 2023 and push it to 2025 WITH INCREASED $100m facility .....part of the plan ??? ———- 2nd .... the downsize of its London office and HQ shifted to the Far East ..... pre agreed ? ———- 3rd.... u just couldnt get a 10% rise in the sp or even a fall in that case as the sp was most certainly controlled and tailored to needs ..... I’m 100% certain they have hoovered up many shares .... interesting to see how many. ———- 4... they have no ceo ..... who on earth would take this long to find a CEO ? Looks like a set up to me. ———— 5. NO EXCLUSIVITY...... unheard of these days and suggests they were already in bed together and dont fear outsiders coming in although it would be good for investors. Looks like the appraisal has been drilling for 4-6 weeks now. Look for results next week, most appraisals take 30-45 days by normal industry standards. Obviously this is very very big in terms of oil find so I would allow extra 2 weeks. Either way by the latest ..... maximum end of this month it will come in. Will add 20-30% to the sp when it does. Personally I still think end of next week we will get the results come in.

Added 35,549 shares. Happy building up a decent holding here. Gold will be a safe haven for all of 2019 as u just get a feeling there’s a few unexpected skeletons in the closet.

Expect another 20% gain min.

Your post is smack on ....there is way too much value here especially if they revive Fortuna and Tanzania is a go go. I’m going to hold...... rather stay put n if all fails then still probably be up 20-30% on my holding rather than missing out on possibly 200-300% gains because as many probably know .... ophr will wtttact others and their assets are world class. It’s like they can get $300m-500m easily for the 20% in Tanzania tomorrow if they wanted to. Hold on chaps ..... it’s about to blow

Arielarrow. How r u mate. I’m gona be honest , I’m lucky I got in low and have a fair amount. I’m gona bite my tongue and probably hold unless there’s a 150% spike .... it’s just that we as investors go through so much on the downside yet jump ship way to early when it moves on the upside. Fact is that 30s -40s will be more or less gone forever, like u said if it settles on 53-55p + then I’m very happy. The fact there’s nothing else that will catch the headlines suggests to me there will be most toms and a few Harry’s that will Jump on board here. 60-70p intra day high is more or less certain !!!

The key will be Tanzania and its value. Forget EG for now. Shell n co with the government of Tanzania are pushing for gas to be produced by 2021-23. Ophir sold 20% of the licence field for $1.3b and STILL hold 20%. Not they have some 3-4tcf which is about 500mboe NET to them. As I keep saying .... negotiations HAVE started because they are talking figures which Ophir are considering and as always they must have seen a process towards proof of funds ..... THIS will be fruitful for many and 26 days gives many others to come n take a look especially Thailand / Japan / China / and far east conglomerates who can stump up billions without much fuss especially if they really really want something.
