1000 BST!
As I've said before, I believe there is a bigger picture here regarding the assets. The Chinese invested in Bellzone long before Rio's Simandou blocks became available, which they are now planning to take full control of for $1.5B. Together, this would be the largest infrastructure project in Africa and one of the world's largest IO sources on the planet. Simandou has potential revenues in excess of $200+B
So who has a specific question for the call tomorrow?
They will only issue an RNS if the Co. has news that would be sensitive to the sp. They are duty bound to do so. My guess is we'll not see an RNS before tomorrow's call.
Will you be listening in Sparky?
Starts at 1000 (BST)
FFS... Request dial in details from Simon Edwards @ Bellzone
He who dares Rodders! ;)
Well one thing is for sure... Everyone is just speculating what Hudson really want!
If Hudson vote against, the resolution won't be passed... When I spoke to Julian during the last CC I asked him what was the reason for the resolution for potentially issuing up to 1.5B shares... He said, The BOD feels that the company is at an inflection point, with current enquiries and to enable avenues for third party finance going forward... I wonder if Hudson voting against the resolution at the AGM was a reason for Julian to move aside from his CEO role...? That said, I do believe that the shift of position for Simon Brickles to a senior non-executive director role allows him to head up discussions with Hudson and may be the reason for this situation in forcing their hand... Guess we'll know more Friday. How many on here are going to be listening in..?
Well if there's no future then I guess Julian and Simon would have sold their share awards prior to the RNS...
It's all smoke and mirrors Eyeguy with attempts to fush out the weak holders....
and why do the Chinese want to take full control of Simandou...? Maybe its because it has potential revenues of $200B+ at today's prices for 65% IO fines. Chinese are looking at high grade ore and high grade pellets. Guinea has a massive resource in both Simandou and Kalia of these. One thing is for sure, the Guinean government will not allow them to just sit on Simandou for decades like Rio did. I'm holding...
Good post MickR
That is how I interpret the RNS.
Sparky, I have added since the two recent RNS'
You can't really make it any clearer Sparky!

Who's planning to dial in...enough of you I hope!?
Who might the 3rd party be...that is the question...
I think Simon Brickles is well connected and is a key player in having financial connections... SVS have recently come on board taking up the recent placing... I think Hudson could be the biggest problem here ...
