Depending on the outcome regarding the port.. It could be different outcome should a similar scenario play out...
Welshie7 Thanks for taking the time and posting. This quote... "But I do suggest that given the content you've sent me, taken in aggregate I would change your pinch of salt to a cup full." ... is enough for me to sit and wait with a positive stance. The next RNS will be key.
'The finger is pointing towards the site management or cost cutting... " That maybe.... But whomever is pointing the finger, there are always three fingers pointing back at you! ;))
The blame will lie somewhere... What's more important here imo, is the fact that gagging orders were implemented by TW / NHBC... That should be a greater worry - The attitude from Management/NHBC to cover cover this up... What else could be lurking dangerously in your average new build...!?
REALL. I agree, and you have always kept your head whilst keeping up with the drivel! I've always believed that 'big names' like Simon Brickles aren't going to be drawn into a mess like Bellzone without a good reason behind it. Simon and chums are there for a reason. The value of the port has always been missed here... I believe Simon and chums are there to unlock the asset's true economic value and such an outcome will move the sp. Of course I could be wrong... But I'll certainly go with my own theories rather than listening to some random folk who can't even spell or string proper a sentence together... Such caring folk!
Kabisko You would do better to put all your concerns/allegations/conduct of the BOD/company (based on your exceptional knowledge) to Simon Edwards. Im sure he will be able to provide some clarity for you. Please, do forward what Simon has to say regarding your allegations/conduct of the BOD/company. I'm especially interested in the allegation that Bellzone are not in a position to monetize the port. They have been updating the market, that monetizing the port is a 'viable' option for the company and discussions continue according to the last RNS.
Must be good news on its way!
'The only alternative view that makes any sense is they are convinced if insolvency proceeds they will pick up the mining rights to all BZM assets.' But they could have done this along time ago by withholding funding and forcing the company into insolvency.... Which would have been prior to any further dilution and releasing the said funds... Simon made a point that Bellzone is governed by Jersey law... Therefore matters arising over insolvency would be done so by Jersey Law. Anyone have any knowledge of Jersey company law?
From the update; "Whilst the Company pursues this opportunity as a means of avoiding an insolvency procedure, it has requested and been granted a suspension of the trading of its shares on AIM pending clarification of its financial position." Hudson have ruled themselves out of further funding now. This means the BOD can give their full attention to the 'opportunity' regarding the port... My personal feeling is the interested party are not anything to do with Hudson.
One more thing - There's alot of corruption being suggested here... The Guinean government have been fighting corruption in the country - especially regarding mining licences. In my view they are looking to conduct themselves above board and by the book. That certainly seems to be the impression they are trying to portray to the world, which is more like going to bring investment. It is not in either the government or country's interest for corruption to continue...
'The bit around Hudson frustrated me as I thought they were the ones to move this forward.' Little point getting frustrated over events you cannot control - that said, you could have taken control of your frustration by selling up (at a loss) and put it all behind you. Other than that, you just have to let it play out... Maybe, Hudson are not the one's going to be the saviour here... Hudson have said 'no more working capital'. The BOD will now have to show their mettel. Quite frankly, in my view, Hudson were never going to provide the necessary capex for the first stage to ever get this off the ground. Perhaps there's something else going on we are not aware of - part of a bigger plan... More patience required!
Big Bear 2 Exactly my point.
'I’m sure walko stated that the land was owned by a now defunct company so if this is the case then we can forget about the port.' If what you are saying is true, then Bellzone will also know this, therefore if true, they are informing the market and shareholders that they are in discussions with interested parties about a port they do not have the authority to monetise by some means. I don't think some of you are thinking this through at all... All some are doing here is just latching on to small pieces of information and drawing your own conclusions. Maybe it's just your emotions doing the talking...
It has now answered the question of whether Hudson were going to release further funds. Or to put it simply - working capital. Now that has been answered, it's all about the port - interested party... We'll have to take their word for that until confirmation comes through.
Quite...
I doubt SVS are going to be too impressed - having funded the last raise... Kabisco, are you are suggesting that SVS took up/funded shares issued by Bellzone, when those same shares were not able to be raised according to the mining code/legally? That doesn't add up...
BB. It's been suspended before...
So, for those wanting an update you now have it. Not all doom and gloom... But desperate for funds does not provide alot of leverage whilst negotiating over the port!
Whilst you still have the balls to do so! ;)
Let's hope those having the discussions do!
