Westhouse Securities initiates buy on Sabien Technolgy, target price 50p.

For the year ended 31 December 2011 the Group anticipates reporting revenue of approximately £1.85 million which remains in line with the Board's expectations. However the Group now anticipates reporting a loss after tax of approximately £3 million which is materially behind the Board's previous expectations. The Group's out-turn for the financial year ending 31 December 2011 has been negatively impacted by certain non-cash adjustments totalling approximately £2 million. This is split roughly equally between: (i) a goodwill impairment; and (ii) a share based payment charge as a result of the transfer of 16.1 million Ordinary Shares in November 2011 by Shia Kok Fat (MediLink's CEO) to certain key employees for nil consideration. These adjustments are approximate and subject to final review and confirmation by the Company's auditors. The Group's Ordinary Shares remain suspended from trading on AIM pursuant to AIM Rule 19 pending publication and posting to shareholders of the audited accounts. Further announcements will be made by the Group as appropriate.

Trading Update On 29 June 2012 MediLink's ordinary shares of 5 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") were suspended from trading on AIM pending publication of the Group's audited annual accounts for the year ended 31 December 2011. The delay in finalising the audit was principally related to postponement in consolidation of the Group's non-Malaysian subsidiaries. The Group is currently in the final stages of completing the audit of the Group's consolidated financial statements and expects to be in a position to publish their audited accounts by early September.

Sweett Group secures hat-trick of energy sector framework appointments Sweett Group, the international property and infrastructure consultancy, is pleased to announce that it has secured a hat-trick of energy sector appointments in the UK. The three appointments, with Babcock International Group, Dounreay Site Restoration Limited and NNB Generation Company (part of EDF Energy) are the most recent significant frameworks that the Group has secured in the UK energy infrastructure market. The Group's appointment with Babcock International group is to provide quantity surveying and commercial services on the engineering firm's UK nuclear decommissioning projects, including major works at Sellafield and Berkeley as part of a three-year framework. Working with Dounreay Site Restoration Limited over a four-year period, Sweett Group will provide cost estimating services, predominantly from its offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow, on the decommissioning of the site which formerly housed the UK's centre of fast reactor research and development. In the nuclear new-build field, the Group has been appointed by EDF Energy to provide commercial support services as part of a two and a half-year framework for the construction of a proposed new nuclear power station at Hinkley Point C, one of eight locations in the UK identified by the Government as being potentially suitable for a new nuclear power station.

coverage Online consumer electronics business eXpansys (XPS) announced a new contract win from its e-commerce services subsidiary PJ Media, which will see it provide top-up services to pre-pay customers of Everything Everywhere, the UK owner of Orange. PJ Media has already provided similar services to other large mobile networks, which it believes is a major contributor to the reason it won this contract. The shares jumped 0.125p to 1.175p.

Ultra acquires specialist US electronic component company In June, Ultra announced that it had agreed to acquire the power conversion business operated by RFI Corporation ("RFI"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of DGT Holdings Corp. (OTCBB:DGTC) ("DGT"), for a cash consideration of $12.5m (subject to a potential working capital adjustment). The transaction was subject to the approval of at least two-thirds of the outstanding shares of common stock of DGT. Ultra now announces that DGT's shareholders have approved the deal and the transaction has been closed. RFI is an established manufacturer of proprietary, high-voltage, power conversion subsystems including electronic filters, high voltage capacitors, pulse modulators, transformers and inductors, and a variety of other products designed for industrial, medical, military and other commercial applications. It is located on Long Island, New York, USA, close to Ultra's EMS Development Corp., part of the Group's Information & Power Systems division, and will be integrated into the EMS business in 2012.

Rakesh Sharma, Chief Executive of Ultra, commented: "I am pleased that we have acquired RFI. It has strong market and technical synergies with EMS with which it will be combined to the benefit of both businesses."

Defence and security firm Ultra Electronics Holdings (ULE) has been granted approval to acquire power conversion business RFI Corporation for a cash consideration of 12.5 million dollars (8.0 million pounds). The purchase will increase its presence in the US and will be integrated into the company's EMS business where it is expected to provide cost saving synergies and expand the product range. Shares in Ultra Electronics climbed by 76p to 1,592p.

Current trading and outlook Since the beginning of July total Group revenue is up 6% on the same period in 2011, with like-for-like revenue up 4%. While such a short trading period can be distorted by external factors we are pleased with the underlying trends. While the outlook for the UK consumer seems likely to remain challenging, Rank is in a strong financial position, possesses market-leading brands and has a clear strategy for long-term growth.

Pennon Group (PNN) reported that its South West Water division performed well in the period from 31st March 2012 to date and is set to beat previous forecasts. The firm added that it is undertaking customer surveys in order to better plan for the next phase of investment. To help fund this, the firm has renewed its 35 million pound credit facility and secured a new 50 million pound loan. However, the water treatment company noted that its Viridor business is trading well below 2011 levels, suffering from weak recyclate prices. The shares slipped by 2.5p to 747p.

Singer Capital retained its "buy" stance on Volex (VLX) with a 340p target price. The broker said that the power cords manufacturer has enjoyed strong sales momentum and won a significant contract with iPhone developer Apple. Singer expects this contract to benefit profits from the 2014 financial year and added that it should help to attract business from other major companies. Volex shares jumped by 10.75p to 252p.

N+1 Brewin maintained its "buy" rating for CLS Holdings (CLI) with an increased target price of 850p, from 825p. The property investment company reported year-on-year NAV growth of 5.6% to 1,038p and the broker noted that the firm is well financed, with liquid resources of 123 million pounds. Brewin added that the group achieved a record occupancy rate of 96.5%, despite the economic downturn, with interest payments covered 3.4 times. The shares inched up by 4.5p to 725p.
