Obviously the current malaise affecting AIM (and resource stocks in particular) does not help but I wonder what impression people looking in have of SAV ? Portugal is steamig ahead they will see, but what of the projects we had before Portugal ? : Oman - no published JORC, no PFS or DFS, no licence - even though our majority shareholders are Omanis ! Another set of drilling due for completon Q4 - there are less than 7 trading days to the end of Q4 now so we could get an announcement, but somehow I doubt it. Management have missed their own performance target for Oman. Then Moz - PFS ongoing, but no licence - there was a 6 months deadline up on 2 October for a licence, after which time we apparently go into a potentially everlasting loop of 6 month renewals. No announcement has been made since the 2 October deadline passed, except to say we are now applying for another licence ! To an outsider looking in Portugal seems attractive but if you look at the track records of the other projects they might make a potential investor think twice. Missed deadlines with no communication from management never goes down well.

Yes, a singularly pointless appearance. DA presented in Hong Kong earlier in the year, presumably to an audience of Chinese businessmen, and that did fizz-all for the sp, so cant see Edinburgh on a damp November night is going to do anything.

Lithium aside, the silent passing the the Moz licence deadline does SAV and DA no favours at all - the market is already aware of the Oman licence fiasco and will be forgiven for drawing the same conclusions about Moz. Having said all that I am still holdling and actually bullish that it will resolve itself over the coming year. If it doesn't I will buy thelix and Veteran10 a vintage of their own choosing. If you are a believer, what a bargain price this is now !

So if you are a believer as I am this is a good time to top up - unless of course you wait until next week when it will be an even better time !
I still think SAV will do well as I think the EV revolution will come, but the question is exactly when ? I was hoping soon (ie couple of years) rather than in 5 or 10 years. I am already 63 and don't want to simply be able to afford a gold-plated zimmer frame when this does eventually come good.

You are correct, it hasn't changed. In fact in terms of resources in Portugal it has got better.
The trouble is, apart from the general downbeat sentiment for lithium stocks in last few months, our licences (or lack of them). We have been waiting over a year for an Oman licence, the 6 months deadline for receiving a Moz licence has just quietly passed with no licence. 6 of the 9 extra Portugal licences Slipstream Resources had applied for were rejected on 15 August, and no info on the remaining 3. Also the Portugal government seems to have cottoned on to the fact they have something valuable here so are putting things out to tender. This may IMO cause the licencing process in the future to be slower - for example for the Aldeia licence we have just applied for.

So licences is the key to reversing the current trend.

Yes, enthusiasm seems to have waned severely here in last few months. IMO if we get the Moz licence application kicked into the long grass for another six months next week (deadline for them to respond is next Tuesday) then it wouldn't surprise me if we dropped back into the 6's again.

I agree with you iceberg, I can't see much happening to the sp for the rest of this year. So I would actually be quite content for the sp to languish as I should have more funds to plough in in the New Year. By then general EV developments should be clearer, Brexit should be clearer, copper price should be better.

About 1932 wasn't it ? I agree, DA would not commit further effort in Oman if he wasn't sure the licence is in the bag. Unless of course he is totally insane (nothing should ever be ruled out).

1 week - expiration of due diligence time for extra ground in Portugal
2 weeks - Moz mining ministry has to respond to our mining lease application.

I've a feeling 2 will simply be a further 6 month extension. So then Moz will follow Oman into a never ending wait for a licence.

Lithium companies (eg Nemaska, Altura) near 52 week lows at the moment. Here our 44 % resource increase has had zero effect on the sp. Feeling quite despondent about it all at the moment, to the extent that I'm almost pleased DA et al won't be getting their bonus for Oman commencing mining by the end of the year.

Fingers crossed, though knowing our luck they might invoke the 'iterative process' and immediately slap another 6 months on ! Also, tomorrow there are 2 weeks left for the due diligence on acquiring the extra ground in Portugal. Wouldn't have thought due diligence would go to the wire (if it does then there are probably problems) so we may get something on this any time now.
