Yes this whole saga is getting pretty depressing now.
I bought in years ago when we only had Moz mineral sands and no Rio Then along came Oman and DA stated in several RNSs that we would become a 'mid-tier' copper producer (hard to believe now). A small flurry of new drilling activity announced 8 months ago, which we were told would be complete 4 months ago but as we all know, nothing since. Now Moz - we were told in RNS 23/04/2018 that the mining licences had been submitted 02/04/2018 and the ministry should respond within 6 months, though 'this may be an iterative process'. Well it has certainly turned into an iterative process - we have now just entered the third 6 month iteration !! And of course, no updates.
So then to Portugal - we started off well - with a licence ! - but now the government is opening up the country's licensing to all comers and I wonder what chance little Savannah has in any competition with bigger entities ? Perhaps we will be fine but no-one can be sure ...
My own worry is that DA will stumble upon a cure for cancer and then Oman, Moz and Portugal will all be ditched in favour of this new venture.
Seriously, I will give this 6 more months and if at the end of that period there is no more clarity about where we are with all projects I will slowly begin to reduce my holding.
