Talk to the directors - they could issue you new shares god knows they need it
The question is whether or not they can get an accountant to sign off as a going concern a main list company likely to go tits up in the not too distant future ….. and whether or not the directors have to spend the money on winding up properly - shame
No - not at all - there is no evidence that lower concentrations can help if delivered more efficiently which is all this does
They are not going to do full clinical trials (not generic) wherein they need to PROVE a CLINICAL BENEFIT on the of chance that putting less in the pill makes the drug more effective in the blood
They and others have other drugs in the pipeline - they will be more worried about those - given where the patent expiry is - they would have need to start this already - even if they did change their mind (no reason to) they’d be out of time
Going concern is not facile - especially if any of the main partners eg AZ have said no
A few buyers today, does this Zombie have an announcement to make ? might there be one more blip, one spurt - before it bites it’s own head off for the last time ?
Ned - who says. Ive not traded - I predicted the share price fall and it’s fallen a long way - the only regret is I didn’t see it sooner and that it’s dead too soon
Little Ned -
My details are irrelevant - this is about the company
You tell me - why would anyone invest in a toxic reformulation that cannot be given to patients as a stand alone treatment - if it were safer and there were no issues surely this would be possible
If it’s so dangerous to give to patients this sick why should anyone invest in its clinical development ?
Rowing in the wrong direction no matter how hard cannot be rewarded.
With this side effect profile it and the status of the patients it should have been predicted that a stand alone trial would not get past ethics
New use for old drugs - reformulation - less side effects are gross oversimplifications that don’t - as elegantly proven here - don’t always work
Nein nein nein is the only relevant number here
Who is more foolish - the fool or the investor that follows him
Can’t believe the band is still playing - with the water this high must be the woodwind section
Nothing to do with Lanstead - management picked the wrong opportunities and paid the price
Chabbie - nothing can do anything about the share price
None of you can say what value the greatly anticipated data that might arrive at some point might bring.
There is no need to stop - none of you have started
What exactly will this data tell you and how will it help ?
No benefit - you’d think a thank you would be in order but I suppose that the difference on a tax break between 90 and 100 per cent loss is minimal (just if it’s more that you can use to offset other profits you might want to consider spreading any sales/losses across the tax year - should this last that long )
And what has the share price done since ?
Only important info released is that the lead candidate can’t be given to patients on a standalone basis - it would not be ethical
With so much information proving this is dead the question is not who is paying me - it’s who is paying you lot
Stop trying to coax others into sharing your loss - own it accept it - take the tax break and stop whining
The data was there from the start to know this was not a flyer - your venom should be pointed at the management not the investor willing to give them another chance when no one else would
Lol - soup - sounds a bit limp ol man
Fundamental science poor to non existent
Massive share overhang
No cash and no hope of raising any
Biotech sector in disarray
Might see Q2 but shouldn’t
So many other safer or proven more effective And safer alternatives with similar modes of action
Perhaps it can be used in treatment of investinbloxitis
What is there to deramp
Some of the blox you lot talk verges on misleading - yes a test might finish q1 - it will not provide any data of any value - it purely a required hurdle to complete - might as well be a VAT return - sorry no - that creates value as it should be recoverable
Tick tock
I feel for Lanstead - I think they were duped into buying a story that management at the time knew or should have known had no legs.
Even with discount selling it remains to be seen if they can recover their investment before this blows up - and they are not the only sellers with a large position !
Too many problems to solve -
If only any of the programs had the slightest chance - you could look at buying from the liquidators
Take the advice or leave it - I did the research - no one has provided a coherent argument as to why I’m wrong
And the share price and cash pile continue to fall
Anti vaccers - or here the ninety niners (%lost) - will of course not admit their appalling investment decision - it makes dry little difference - but if you are not in that category - do yourself a favour
Good data ? What is that - in this indication the company has admitted they will not get passed ethics as a stand alone …….. so even the best data that could be generated from the current planned trials is meaningless from a deal making and or investment view —- so many better ideas are being binned across the industry
Monty python parrot sketch ….
Get to a life boat and take what you can - don’t be a band member when this finally sinks
