Ekoenergetyka-Polska has designed a high power charging station for the Dutch public transport operator Qbuzz. The 1.2 MW device is able to power 20 electric buses simultaneously. Initially, the station will be installed in Zeist, a city near Utrecht. The charger has been closed in a metal container, thanks to which it is possible to transport it with satellites to any place. A similar solution, also with a capacity of 1.2 MW, was implemented in Hamburg, but there the charger was placed in a stationary, concrete housing. The Mega Charger X 1200 is a multi-output device whose power can be divided depending on the needs and delivered to vehicles using 20 Point Zero satellites with CCS Combo plug-ins. At Zeist, the station will be used to charge Ebusco buses with 60 kW. According to Ecoenergy, a significant challenge turned out to be to adapt the device to a small depot space, where the vehicles are parked several dozen centimeters apart. The station has been designed so as not to impede the work of drivers and service staff. "We carefully listen to our customers and create solutions that will fully meet their needs. Dutch Qbuzz received from us a charging station along with all the necessary infrastructure. When the contract between the operator and the city ends, the company can move it to any place of business" - said the Vice President of the Management Board of Eco-Energy Poland Polska Maciej Wojenski. Qbuzz is one of the largest Dutch companies operating in the public transport sector - currently its fleet includes 99 all-electric buses. Eco-energy-Poland has so far delivered over 600 charging stations with a total capacity of over 80,000 kW to 60 cities in 12 countries. The infrastructure of the Polish manufacturer powers electric vehicles, among others in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Spain, France, Russia, Singapore and Germany.
