I have to politely disagree. It isn't great news for shareholders. You're right that the consolidation if it was just that doesn't make a difference, but the placing at 11p does. If you divide 11p by 38 shares you get in the new company that equates to a price under the present system of .289p. If you hold this long term, then you might get a very good deal, but for short termers it isn't.
