Well guys, just like PF, I'm not selling my shares for anything less than £2.
Um, why has that ambulance just stopped outside my door?
To be serious (which I rarely am) we LTHs must be off our heads to still be in here after all the lies peddled our way. I'm not selling my holding simply because it's hardly worth it - I daren't check my account as WSG is the only share I hold now. Oh, those dreams (Rodders) when the sp was at 82p. Now it's just a nightmare for everyone except the Pete Bog Family.
Still here, like Greyfriars Bobby, although I haven't been sitting over this grave for quite 14 years yet. Sitting neutral, hoping something positive will turn up, although I've noticed that the Freetown Airport arrivals webpage is showing no flights for the past five days after a steady climb to 12,000 footfall per fortnight. (Yes, I know we get paid per departure, but the figures were always comparable.) Hi to all remaining long-termers . . . all three of you. One day Rodders - as Pete would say to his great-great-grandson.
Hmm, maybe great-great-great grandson.
Turning attention to school gates now:

Woodys: We're invested because we can't get out and hold a vain and exceedingly tiny hope that the sp might, just might, take off one day. We jumped in when the sp was somewhere above 80p and PF would hold out his bag of sweeties saying he had eight airport MoUs under discussion plus a border crossing checkpoint that was high priority with the country concerned. Nothing came of any of them. Most of us averaged down. The sensible ones jumped ship. The sp needs to rocket 300% before I break even. Others are in a worse situation. I 'm a glass half-full person but as each year passes with ever-increasing dilution Peter has got to pull more than a rabbit out of his hat before we'll believe the little boy who cried wolf too many times. But we hang on . . . and hope.
My first question at the investors' presentation will be: What became of the expected Menzies contract?
PF was happy with how the trials had gone. Presumably Menzies weren't :(
The African airports managed services contract was delayed, not by covid but by upheaval within the administration of the country's airports and airlines. There has been total silence on that issue so we have no idea when, or even if, that spaghetti will be untangled.
As others on here have already commented, some actual figures would have been helpful. Perhaps.
I see another frustrating Christmas just over the horizon.
TEU traffic rose by more than 24% last year despite covid. Fuller report here:

Looks like a hefty upsurge in arrivals at Lungi over the past three days

Maybe a corresponding tick up when they all leave after Christmas?
I had plans to help provide education and water for hundreds of young Africans once the sp topped 100p. Over the years I've seen those hopes diminish. Today they're gone. The sp needs to rise 300% before I get near to breakeven. Thank you Peter Fowler. I wonder how you sleep at nights.
Win4call: Yes, Tanzania was on our radar years ago, notably Zanzibar. Never came to anything . . . just like all the other MOUs (8 before Fooler stopped announcing them). Remember when he said he wouldn't sell his shares even at £2? No, he never will now. I'd be relieved (but certainly not happy) to sell at 20p. Can't see that happening any time soon. Oh, that word again!
Yeh, we all know that one. No one can ever accuse WSG of leaking (except the ferry). Still, even if we're not setting the world alight we know that the company is in good shape considering the world situation at present. Onwards and upwards (soon).
Thanks for the bullet points yrab. I take it there was no mention of Menzies in your enquiries. I had expected news on that front by now considering the tests were successful. I've been tempted to ask PF several times if negotiations are still live but, going on previous correspondence, I'm pretty sure the reply will be suitably vague. Topped up four times in the past fortnight, so will just sit patiently (as I have done for the past six years) and wait for the Christmas announcement. Sigh
