Being Resident (for tax purposes ) is down to facts , it's where you spend the majority of your time , not what your passport says
If your not Resident in the UK (for tax purposes) then you cannot contribute to a UK ISA , I just suggested out take some advice or you might get in trouble , or all your massive gains might actually become taxable
