Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I think it’s all about what they do, not what they say they will do. As a LTH since 2020 I’m a little nervous. Only certainty lifts sentiment here.
We can all speculate and fill in the blanks. We all have an opinion, mine is that it could go either way.
Kind regards. Mr Tennis.
I have held this share since 2020….in plentiful amounts. Never have I seen it behave with such a robust momentum.
It’s had a classic ‘fly and die’ trend. But this is so different. Very interesting.
Good luck all. Kind regards. Mr Tennis.
IMO polygon are V interesting. This is on their website:
European Event Driven Equities
Polygon co-founder Reade Griffith has been a major European Event Driven Equities and M&A investor since the mid-1990s. The strategy is founded on a diversified, catalyst-driven portfolio that exhibits a low correlation to European equity markets. A thoughtful, size-constrained approach allows a focus on more attractive and less-followed opportunities while remaining nimble. These include:
Corporate Restructuring: participation in recapitalisations and balance sheet deleveraging via equity issues
M&A: favouring hostile, cross-border or otherwise complex transactions more likely to be misunderstood by the market
Dislocation: medium-duration, high-conviction trades with significant upside potential
Special Situations: “piggybacking” on corporate activism and/or pre-deal opportunities
This strategy is led by CIO Reade Griffith and Nicolas Dautigny.
Kind regards. Mr Tennis.
For me the interview was really insightful.
I think you see a very assured CEO who knows just how special, unique and effective his product is.
I also think he’s not short of a few quid so he’s never gonna screw things up by going too fast.
Given the scale of AGLs potential now, I would be very surprised not to see a larger company acquire them over the next 12 months. I think the CEO is well connected enough to know this too.
The short term SP doesn’t matter IMO. Lots to look forward to!
Kind regards. Mr Tennis.
Agree with this. NNN was always and still is a 20-1 shot. But there’s not motivation amongst the exec board on NNN or on Virosynth to ruin their reputations. Why would they?!
Sit in for 24 months and let’s see what happens. I think it could do well. But it is a 20-1 shot!
Kind regards. Mr Tennis.
Two clear and proven stats jump out for me:
1. A 70% reduction for high risk patients progressing to severe disease or death. That has now been established.
2. We have a safe and well tolerated drug. That has been established for some time.
Why do we need to go through the arduous process of another trial?! We have strong backing from the US. so my hope is that the FDA encourage us to make an application for EUA. We do have compelling data.
It reminds me of the COPD trials with AZ. SNG couldn’t find enough high risk/extreme patients for the trials. Yet we know it works. Highly frustrating!
Time will tell I guess. Kind regards. Mr Tennis.
March 20th in 2020 just to be clear :)
60p was the entry price on March 20th when lockdown was due to hit. So 60p now feels like a great entry point. Delighted to be in with this share.
GDR released this onto LinkedIn this morning. https://lnkd.in/ddVenf_K
Great article on the NHS website. Quite detailed and upbeat.
Kind regards. Mr Tennis
Firstly, I’m a holder and have been for over 18 months. I want the best for GDR who have some great products.
In terms of todays SP from Friday news and further news today, I believe the market wants to see tangible revenues.
GDR lost a lot of credibility during the last 15 months with various products and distro agreements that didn’t bring in any material revenue. It also sought a further capital raise.
In fact over the last 5 years we haven’t seen any material revenue from GDR agreements and products. Lots of hope and no substance. So I believe the SP will remain cautious.
Here’s hoping AIHL is a game changer. But we should all have balance in our approach with GDR.
Kind regards. Mr Tennis.
Hello there! Having watched Joules for 18 months I’ve just bought in. Looks so oversold.
I like it’s physical locations and brand heritage. With their recent acquisition and hopefully solving supply chain issues I feel really optimistic.
Kind regards. Mr Tennis.
Good progress for GDR on Friday. But FWIW you should all read Roger’s post. We have been here before. And the presentation due from David Budd is certainly worth being weary of. It may deflate market sentiment.
Tread carefully is entirely the right approach from GDR. It can delight and dismay in equal measure.
Kind regards. Mr Tennis.
I think the RNS is another setback. I appreciate it isn’t over and the NIH are still very interested in us. But this now feels like a very, very long term hold.
If we hold 20p today I’d be surprised but pleasantly so.
Kind regards. Mr tennis.
Manifesto. I agree and thought the same. That was our risk right at that point. Clearly there is now positive data that has meant the ACTIV are happy to progress. Be great to know what that data is. The market won't like the long wait but!
Kind regards. Mr Tennis.
TL Williams may have called it!!
“Could they act as Kingmakers i.e. sell their entire holding to a large pharmaceutical company who might wish to acquire Synairgen for a considerably lower price than might have been the case with the expected Sprinter trial outcomes ?”
Are Poly buying and taking instruction from a large Pharma?!
Kind regards. Mr Tennis.
Having thought about Polygon’s stake. It is quite interesting. For me it’s one of two reasons:
1.A takeover is circling in the background so SNG and Poly are working together to enable a veto on a low bid therefore offering protection
2.They are simply averaging down
If strong data is established in the deep dive on P3, this becomes exciting once more. And there’s no doubt ACTIV are waiting for this insight hence the pause. But we have to acknowledge that the outcome is binary. Hold onto your seats!!
Kind regards. Mr Tennis.
