Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Caution is good but your post does come across as a de-ramp long term holder or not.
This company is still being discounted as it is been seen as junior rather than a producer.
And as you mention there is news on flanks shortly.
Furthermore, an offer will only be accepted by shareholders if it is a "premium" to the current levels.
You have broker forecasts of 60p before many of the latest factors were built in....so it is highly unlikely any offer would be at 20p. They expect the resource estimates to only improve.
A valuation on the company that has no debt and has so much resource in the ground with the backing of the Russian government cannot be sold at a market cap of 500M......
The board own around 25% of this company. There is no way this is going cheaply. It is not happening.
While £1.50 to £2 may seem ludicrous at this point. 45-65p is certainly not. When you see the company is now making profits, will no longer be discounted once it is a producer rather than a junior. And we get flanks approvals.
Furthermore, as those resource estimates go up or any "major findings" during this bidding process the value will only go up.
The reason why I put a rebuttal is I saw this with GKP. I bought in at 14p and sold out way too low based on a takeover rumour.
No takeover rumour....takeover talks from many expressed parties is actually happening. While GKP said no takeover it went on to make major findings. That price went from 14p to £5 is less than a year. So when you are talking about mining companies...there are always many possibilities.

Yes but that is the weird thing.
A stream of buys are coming in at around 20p but these are all being reported as sells. Figures are really distorted as the current buy price is higher than the actual buys going through so the buys are being reported as sells
Do these ever get retrospectively corrected?
Brilliant post Ian
It has been a while since I have been this excited for a share.
And what is great is that we know that board have an end game in mind which is the sale of all or part of the company and to "maximise value for shareholders"
As news on flanks and other news comes on us proving we are now a producer rather than a junior...this will only push the SP closer higher up to it's fair value and any offer will be a premium to that if they want the board to recommend the sale to the shareholders.
A very smart play as it is in everyones' (connected to this company, board and existing and new shareholders) interest for this company to do well ahead of negotiations!

Thanks BBaggins, Greg and Wolster
I will do more research over the weekend
That report was excellent Ian
This really is a gold or should I say palladium nugget! lol
Gl all
Thanks a lot Ian.
Much appreciated :)
Andre any report links?
Lol Wolster 30 pages!
Do you at least have the name of some informative posters on this board so I can search by poster!?
Hello all,
Bought in yesterday and topped up today.
What is the realistic offer price for this company? Please do not just put a price. Back it up with some figures lol even if it is off the back of a fag packet. The market cap vs one of their interests is way below what the takeover SP is likely to be but I am after some thoughts. 40p, 65p 85p £1.20? And why
Gl all
A big thanks to everyone who responded so quickly with tips.
I will do some research over the next few days.
Right I am holding for a further takeover bid news on EUA then.

I do like my horses haha
And Jungle, why AGL?
Any reputable posters anyone can point me to for what this company is really worth?
I saw the 2 billion reference to one of the resources in the proactive investors article. Of course it costs bucks to get that resource out of the ground...
Keen to get an idea of company valuation?
Right now at 13/14p it stands at 350M which is pretty low compared to some of the numbers being banded around.
Thanks Sibloggs
Yes I have been keeping my eye of GGP and it is on my watchlist.
Why GGP for you and what milestones are coming this year? Why buy now?
VLS*
While I found some nuggets over the years, I always seem to mistime my holdings. Giving away my shares at the wrong price. Let's hope this one is different lol.
Aside from that, although I have found some shares at cheap prices like GKP, LVS, NCYT, AVCT and Sibir Energy back in the day...it be nice to be at the party before it went off lol. On that note.
What other shares are ppl in...that they feel are under the radar and why should others invest.....list your top 3
wrong chart on the £7.20 sorry lol
So what caused this share to tumble from £7.20
Was there some 6 for 1 or rights issue or something?
A brief overview cheers
Like many others...the waiting seems to be going on forever....I am still here.
Lots of good information here. The placing pretty much created a floor where we have strong resistance around the £1-£1.20 levels. Given we got to £2.15 without EU/US Approvals and without a Product to market re the Antigen Test, then there is huge potential if we can actually show we are going to deliver what we have hinted at delivering.
We are now in the months of July / August / September where we really need to start seeing actions and not words.
I am being critical as I want this company to do well.
For me those actions are:
- I want to know what the accuracy of the rapid Antigen test is
- What price of the Antigen test
- Progress and application for EU / US Approvals
- I want us to hear about other collaborations
- Also what numbers per month are we looking to distribute or produce as that will give us a real indication of how ambitious we plan to be.
I am still here and am thinking about topping up but I am disappointed that it has taken this long. I recognised we are trying to do things that take months in weeks and so on.
But it "timing" is vital. I worry the longer we take to get his test out...the bigger chance we are going to lose the momentum we built up. Furthermore, if we do not get this rapid test out soon, then we risk other quicker players getting into the market before us.
This stock remains my Strongest Buy but I do wish they would get a move on!

Young,
Which covid play stock are you referring to?
I agree somewhat but Kier is looking very oversold right now....
I looked here last week at around 90p and people were saying you cannot get back in here below 80p and now it is 70p!
The placing reference was not a good mention in the latest RNS. Do we know what placing price?
I used to work for Kier so I am suprised how much it is falling right now!
